    All people have a right to opinions, we hear yours in your articles and we obviously hear opinions in your contributor articles. Are we so socialist that your opinions are the only opinion that matters.

    I just want to know , why you guys make available article commenting for me , then I was happy for someone I sent happy face with two hearts on eye , I was blocked . Sorry does not make not sense this behavior of yahoo. I fell this unnecessary. Im using this for many years. Im about to stop watch yahoo.

    Sometimes, the comments are easier to get the main point than the article itself. Yes, some people do vent their anger. Maybe we, as a society, need that. So many people get dumped on so much and need an outlet, just guessing.

    I am so happy that Yahoo has deleted public commenting on stories. An excellent portal site, that continues to be useful. A site that does not need a megaphone dangling underneath every story.

    When you say "temporarily suspending commenting", is that for 1year, 5 years, 10?. What's your definition of temporary. Just curious!

    Well you have some articles open for comments but not all of them which is strange but a problem I just encountered is I was posting my comment on one article and it was just fine then went to a different one later and I go to post it tells me to sign up to post yet I am already signed up and logged in... So I click on the article from before and post it worked fine go back to the one that told me to sign up and it did it again keeps telling me to sign up...

    Add getting back to my.yahoo homepage. If I click on home I get yahoo homepage. Don't want it. I don't know why Yahoo keep making things more difficult.

    Simple... allow comments again on your articles. It's ok for people to disagree. That is what free speech is all about.
