Yahoo fails to recognize blatant innuendos to racism and bigotry in comments all the time, even when you flag them for review. Yet time and time again, users get flagged for simply using regular words. I couldn't use the words 'ethnicity' or 'scholarships' in an article about scholarships and ethnicity. I requested a review of the immediate system rejection and got rejected again. In another article I realized the words 'gossip' and 'rudeness' were being flagged. I'm sure thousands of users can provide similar examples. Yahoo you can fix the issue or simply shut commenting down. You know the moment you decide to shut it down, folks will disappear. It shouldn't be that hard to make an intelligent decision and work on a better system to flag comments.

I flag a lot of comments. It seems to me a lot of people's definition of the rules is out the window. Plus if my comments are rejected, it is an opportunity for me to use critical thinking to try an discern why someone else black-balled you.

I used to like and respect Yahoo, but no longer. Free speech is alive and for the most part well, except on Yahoo. I understand foul language or racist comments, but y'all are going way too far. I had a GIF rejected of a woman acting like she was wiping tears and saying OH, BOO. That is just ridiculous. I'VE SEEN A LOT WORSE. Also, you call all caps yelling?? LOL Please be real people.

When rejecting a comment, please take the entire comment into account, not just one word or phrase, and if a comment is rejected because of a word or phrase, please make sure the commenter understands what is wrong, so they can perhaps get their point across without using the word or phrase that your censors find offensive.

I commented the letter F it was not allowed why? You can’t use scientific names for anatomy why? Why is yahoo allowed to use words people posting comments can’t ? I know why yahoo hates the first amendment. Yahoo thinks their site is the best but you’re wrong it’s the worst. I can understand warning or rejecting of foul language. Only good thing about yahoo is mail others are better but I’ll soon be switching to google as you’re censoring is becoming too much to deal with. Yahoo you suck

It's evident that your censoring is biased, my direct non illicit comments (w/o foul language) has often been rejected while MORE damaging comments have been admitted. I support the 1st amendment and understand the limitations of deragotary comment under your rules that only seem fair until the writer travels into a zone the censors don't like.

Look when your talking about war. There is death, a winner and a loser, anger, hate, love and disappointment. Don't let negative replies anger you. All this is to help express one opinion. Maybe even vent a little bit. Words are just expressions. And almost always never being there.

YES!! And - reporting is useless to Yahoo. I reported comments where people were wishing death / cancer / etc. on people - Yahoo said it didn't go against their standards. Where is a list of these so-called "standards"???

I already deleted yahoo from my feed, this last bud light article was very eye opening into how sick and twisted the content moderators are on this site. Breeding ground for antiSemitism and hate. Same reason I deleted my Facebook account years ago.

They have people commenting literal anti-Semitism, Crying about the Jewish agenda. And they're censoring the word "Nazi" Because it's offensive to these sub human pieces of garbage. The term NAZI is only offensive to NAZI's. These sick turds should be ridiculed until they can keep their sick antisemitic hate filled tribalism to themselves.
Whatever neo nazi ********* decided to ban the word should be fired for promoting Hate speech on your platform.

this has happened to me and it is driving me crazy.
I'm now "banned" for posting comments,
after Yahoo emailed me and asked me to read and comment more often.
I'm no right-winger; I'm a liberal who has had enough with the lunacy!
Yahoo needs to do the right thing here, and let free speech proceed. -

Free Speech is not allowed on Yahoo. Only the Left wing comments!

Orn Gorn commented
Yahoo is a left wing rag website. I have comments rejected all the time such as the following: "What planet are you living on? The entire Democrat party is "fringe" with no common sense, reason, morality, or responsibility. THAT is the problem." This is hardly a comment that is inappropriate...unless you are a Democrat. Yahoo rejects the comment "MAGA!". You have to write like a 6 year old to get past the ridiculously sensitive censorship algorithm.

It appears that other posters can make unwarranted accusations in order to silence those who have contrary opinions and those who post facts that support those contrary opinions.

Yahoo has deleted several years of my posts. If an actual human moderator reviewed my posts and appeals there is no way they would be deemed to violate community standards. The appeals process is disingenuous as my appeals are instantly rejected.
