Cannot Respond to those who Reply to My Comments.
In my Yahoo email, I receive notifications that indicate "likes" and "replies" to my comments which includes a "reply to ______" button. However, when I click on the reply button, my original comment will appear for about a second or two and then another unrelated comment will appear depending on whether the "sorting" setting is set to "Top, Newest or Oldest" and therefore to find my comment, I would have to scroll through numerous comments. These are the only three "sorting options" and this is a feature that should be very easy to fix so please look into this. Thank you.

I have been having this problem for the last 2 days. I get notifications but when I go to reply, it says the comment your looking for is not available. It seems like they now censor comments before one can even answer.

Why can't there be a search setting so that you can find replies to your comment after you receive a notification email that someone has replied to your comment? It only comes up for a flash and cannot be found anymore unless you happen to get lucky and find it after scrolling through, perhaps, hundreds or thousands of comments?

Going back and forth and trying to find responses to your comments is not easy. If we could find them all in one place I think Twitter would be beaten by Yahoo in use. Everyone on twitter is looking for a new place to go - expand and be the replacement

How do I find my comment after it has been posted? Hundreds or thousands more leave comments and then I cannot find mine to read any replies. Please fix this. You should have something in the drop down by all/new/old comments and add "my comments"

I blocked one of those (commenters not yours) stupid flash boxes included in the Comments, and now I can't "View Comments"; please advise

I don't even get notifications in my email, but see a notification bell at the top of the article comments and when I click on it I see my comments when I click on reply button, my original comment will appear for about a second or two so I can never respond.

OLDEST, NEWEST & TOP CHOICES. ADD "see conversation" so we can see what someone replies to our posts.

Yahoo will delete your comment without telling you why it is offensive. They do mine daily. If they don't like your opinion, they'll just delete it all together. Nothing offensive about it. Yahoo just deletes opinions if they aren't in line with liberals, leftists, or democrats.

I used to get notifications in my email about comments, too. I do have the option activated to get those notifications as well. When I click on the drop down box in the comment section, I can see that someone replied, but when I click on it, it shows briefly then I end up scrolling through, hoping it is near the top. Otherwise I can give it up. I use another website with comments and when I click on the comment, it takes me to exactly where I need to be.

I don't know why Yahoo can't or won't fix this problem but I am looking into changing my Email and search engine and website. It is unfortunate because I have been with Yahoo for many years.

Replying to a comment is completely useless if it's going to bounce around the site. I don't get it.

I just realized that the function works correctly when you use a private window in Edge or an Incognito window in Chrome as far as taking you to the correct post. Of course, you still can't reply because now you aren't singed in. But the bouncing effect seems to have something to do with being signed into Yahoo.
