Get rid of that abomination of a pop up telling me to turn off adblock. I will burn my email account from orbit before I disable adblock.
Let me check my email without having to learn what the Kesha is up to.

"It's not us, it's you... it's your pesky ad blocker."
Good Lord! Nah... It's YOU Yahoo, not us! I understand that this is a free service and you want to generate revenue from it, but this? If I turn off my ad blocker YOU disguise an advert as an unread email at the top of MY inbox which when clicked opens a new tab to the advertiser!
If you want to retain your users, this is without a doubt one of the worst advertising strategies I have ever seen.
It seems to me that you no longer want to provide a free version of this service, are you pushing the "freeloaders" out in favour of a paid version? You must know that this will make free users want to leave. Is this the most misguided advertising strategy ever, or are you up to something in the long term?
Whatever, if this persists into the new year then I'm out. There are many other free email services around with much less intrusive advertising methods for generating revenue. How are you ever going to compete with Google while deploying this sort of nonsense?
Should be interesting to see how this unfolds...

Yeah, **** this. Gmail is fine.
I was staying with my yahoo account because I was an early adopter, and momentum is a thing.

Agreed. I've used Yahoo mail since the late 1990s - I am now closing my account. It's so dismissive, patronising and insulting to customers to try to force them to sign up to a paid service. Am out.

Seriously, after every Yahoo account being hacked - 3 billion accounts, now you want the few that use an add blocker, not to?
Worse you state, "We are asking you not to" Then you lock us out or our own account for 15 seconds. Then do the same a short time after?
Yahoo - hear this now, there are many other free email providers that do not resort to this type of unprofessional behavior.
I'm done and will go to your competition and will tell everyone that will listen how insane you have become. -

If you don't stop this, BS I will close my account and move it to Gmail?

Never mind all that. I do NOT use an Ad Blocker and it STILL keeps poping up. Yahoo mail has now become utterly utterly ****

The aggravating add that pops up telling me to turn off adblock makes my Yahoo mail useless when I tried to hide it. Do you really want us to quit using yahoo mail after 20 years? It has been my favorite calendar and email all of those years. Since I cannot take back hiding that hideous ad and you won't stop making my email useless, you leave me no other choice.

Barbara Weinberg. It's not "manipulating": It is threatening. They say some posts could be missed by "improper" coding of the AdBlockers and other stuff. I, for instance, CAN NOT open more than ONE attachment per session; and I need to open all of them. Offer the service "for free" and count on us to click on an ad. Yeap... I will never click on any ad IF I decide to disable my AdBlocker. I will pass this on to Opera Team.

What I hate, is that even with it turned off I keep getting the pop up... they won't even let me have adblock at all and use this email...
