  2. Why I can't the previous password?

    I don't care what rules you set. I want to use the previous password anyway. It's my account, so I can set my password in any combination.
    I don't know who thought this unacceptable idea. We can accept the suggestion or not. However, I can't use a password that I can remember. I have to change a password anyway, so it can pass the authorized. I don't want to do like this

  3. I need to delete the list of blocked addresses. All 967 addresses have been recycled so this list is moot

    Your "blocked" list is useless. All the spam companies have been allowed to function with new addresses by you. I refuse to pay for a "service" that provides nothing to add more spam companies to this "blocked" list. Your filter doesn't function either.

  5. Customer support is a privilege now? What happened to getting just basic help

    You do all you can to keep your account secure and once you are hacked it becomes a headache when you have to PAY Yahoo to help you fix the issue.....

  6. option for second family authenticator for elderly, disabled and others with need

    an extra autheticator method for an account holder who uses Carers because they deserve to do it themselves or when they are in need such as in Hospital or impaired. Their device may be unavailable yet the Carer is. The password is still required and the Carer wont have it hence its a secure method.

  7. Two Factor Authentication using mobile app (ie, google auth or microsoft auth) should give backup codes.

    Theroretically if I lose my phone I lose my access to manually backup my yahoo 2fa. Most websites provide one time auth keys (like 8-10 of them) so if that ever happens, you do not need support to fix it.

  9. I keep getting a message that, due to suspicious activity, I have to have a code to access my account. Really? I'm using the same computer!

    Maybe, since I am using the same computer with the same IP address that I have been using FOREVER, your site should be able to recognize that it is ME!

    Whats the point of 2 Factor Authentication when you can just bypass it by using sms or email verification instead? The user can just select "sign in another way" and choose email or phone number. Less secure.

  15. Why can Yahoo not fix the App Password Generator?

    Yahoo, this issue has persisted for MONTHS.
    Why are you not able to fix it, it materially erodes our ability to use your platform effectively using Outlook and other desktop apps?
    You have annual revenue in excess of $7bn, we are going to leave if you don't fix this issue

  18. Yahoo needs better way of Verification... I can't use Yahoo during an emergency (airport, library, etc)

    Yahoo mail has gotten atrocious over the years. I used this for 15-20 years no problem. WTF I try to use a stranger's phone to access my email for my boarding pass because my phone died 10 minutes before takeoff. (Check if you aren't a robot... then Yahoo proceeded and not able to verify me...) Add stuff like public records, DOB, phone, or something that can be verified online... Same **** with Gmail. Can't access that in an emergency. How the **** can I be sure I can have email access if I no longer have my previous devices (ex…
