  2. How about more vigilance with spam and phishing emails. My yahoo account was compromised 30 times in 2 years. 26 ARE THROUGH YAHOO MAIL!

  5. Add a new device

    Yahoo thinks I still have my old phone model and uses this as a 2-step contact. The ability to change this is not easily found or apparent in the add phone number section.

  6. BY NOT CONTINUOUSLY TELLING ME THAT MY EMAIL ACCOUNTS OR MOBILE NUMBER HAVE NOT BEEN VERIFIED FOR 14 YEARS - WHICH IS NONSENSE.

    If you need to verify email accounts or mobile numbers please don't keep on telling me that I have not done so for 14 years or other such nonsene. My family keep on telling me to switch to Gmail!

  7. Someone removed my account. Can I only get help from your paid service?

    For those whose accounts are taken over by a malicious 3rd party, it only adds pain to the insult by only getting customer support if you now have to pay for help. That seems like a penalty, and not a benefit. I think the exploit changed my email address to another address and the actor then deleted my account, and Yahoo says it can't access the account with automated services. I don't think it is fair.

  8. Requirement for 3rd party app password generator is outrageous. No other mail service requires this for Outlook.

    Requirement for 3d party app password is ridiculous. No other mail service requires it. Customer service told me tough luck, its broken and we have no idea when it will be fixed. Is Yahoo worth it? Google is free.

    The massive amount of password resetting, while still getting hacked, is insanity. And it's just as much of a security risk to have passwords written down (because you have to because of password requirements) as anything else. I know you can make this more safe and efficient. Y'all have been doing this a long time.

    i don't have good memory and you are prohibiting me on using old password which I'm bringing back because you required me to change it to a new one. and I'm using 2 different yahoo emails. what if this 2 accounts requires code and both of them are useless bacause of this code first before login
