  7. Email installation in Mojave crashes the system

    Trying to install the Yahoo account on Mojave OSX and it works until I confirm not to be a robot and then after I put in the Password, it crashes the MAIL client from apple. Further more, Yahoo thinks that action was succesful and sends you an email to another account to confirm that someone has setup an new account. This is a bummer and will never happen with Google. Seems that a woman is running the company, forgive me but its pretty tough these days to speak to humans. I like someone to help to reinstall that Yahoo account.…

  9. Trying to add a valid GMAIL mailbox as a recovery email, Yahoo says is invalid.

    One of my recovery emails is no-longer valid, but Yahoo says that this is my account username and it cannot be removed- but it isn't my account user name. Also, when I try to add a valid GMAIL account, Yahoo says that the email address is invalid and won't let me add it. The email address is valid, and is not a Yahoo account.

  10. No option to add security key. Please catch up to rest of the world!

    I have couple of Yubico security keys. Unlike Google, Github or any other big services, Yahoo doesn't have this option.

  13. The "Generate an app password" dialog box is not working.

    There is no pull down menu for the app name. When I fill the app name in manually I get an error message: Sorry, this feature is not available right now.
    It's nice that you have the feature to generate passwords for third party apps, but features that don't work aren't features.

    You have multiple people and votes telling to to STOP this 2-factor ID when when we have it selected as off. This is the second time this month that you've forced a 2-factor ID on me and I have NEVER had 2-factor ID turned on. I've verified it's off each time, and it always is.   19. Please stop opening the security page everytime I log into my email. I click on the email button so I can be taken straight to my emails.

    If you want to check someones security send a text message were we can say yes it is me or the same way the access key pops up. Have something like that pop up to check security. Because when I click the mail tab and put in my info. I want to be able to go straight to my email.

  20. Unable to generate an app password so can't access my email on my desktop at work as yahoo is blocked by admin to prevent searches other tha

    I am unable to access my Yahoo account at work as admin have blocked the site and we can only search using Norton. Since I am a sub-contractor and need access to my Yahoo account they have given permission for me to use Outlook but I am unable to sign in without an app password but the option on my mobile device and home PC is showing as unavailable.

    Is there an alternative way I can sign in to my account using Outlook without a generated app password?
