The new comments format is bad.
I’ve noticed a significant decline in comments under the individual stock pages I follow. Examples are 1-2 per day changing to 1-2 per week. With some having no comments in weeks Universally people are saying the new format sucks. Has anyone in leadership chimed in on what a mistake moving to the new format was

Yahoo finance chat
This is so glitchy that you could not have tested it before deployment. This is worse than the old Yahoo chat rooms of 20 years ago.

Make it possible to elect the default name for the portfolio export
A while ago - before you introduced other changes to Portfolios (don't recall the specifics; it was a while ago) - the export file had a default name I could manually insert (just) a date into the fn (in File Explorer).
I export 1 of my 10 "active" portfolios every business day - the one where I track the status of all my DRP stocks. All my other portfolios mimic the approx contents of my brokerage accounts - which I check directly at brokerages each day.
My life would be a tad easier if I didn't have to manually replace…265th ranked -

'Feel Good' Story Suggestion:
Hi there!!
I'm a long time reader of the Yodel. First off, I want to say thanks for taking the time to write it up every day!I also wanted to bring a 'Feel Good' story to your attention: Albuquerque New Mexico has our own Superhero, Skyline! Skyline dresses up and hands care items (and narcan!) out to our homeless population. I would love nothing more than to share this gem of a human with the rest of the world!

Finance comments - hangs, spinning circle, missing text, broken features
Finance comments section just keeps getting worse. "No content found", even though there has been a user comment section for YEARS under a given stock. Click on "More comments"... whirring circle forever. Viewing a long comment, click link to see entire comment - jumps to a page that says "no longer available", even though I was just reading the first paragraph of it. That's all in addition to the oversize fonts you are using that take up way too much screen space, inability to mute or vote down. Man. You ruined it.

Fix cost per share calculation for stocks owned in Robinhood account
Previously stock owned in Robinhood account shows average cost per share. Now it just shows N/A. Other vendors all work correctly such as E*Trade, Fidelity etc.

Stop censorship.
You have a great financial page with excellent data. Your price updates are often faster than Schwab sites. But I must constantly sign in over and over and get stopped from posting by repeated asking for my personal profile. Why are you so messed up.

The new version of the comment section
It's way past time for Yahoo to save its user base by getting rid of the OpenWeb comment platform, and go back to Yahoo's own native comment platform. There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING good about the new version of OpenWeb. It's even MORE HOSTILE toward users, thereby, DISCOURAGING conversation and engagement. Everyone is frustrated and angry at OpenWeb's absurdly aggressive AI moderator that is designed to be user-hostile, which, as I said, DISCOURAGES conversation because no one wants to deal with its ridiculous aggressiveness toward benign words, phrases, and sentences. Example: Yesterday I replied to a user simply saying, "It isn't.…

You Have Ruined the Financial Forums
I have been using Yahoo Finance Forums for over 15 years. They used to be a useful tool where people could openly share opinions on investments. In the last few years, they have progressively gotten less and less useful and now with the latest update are basically useless. People are getting over 50% of posts deleted that are not only relevant to either the stock in question or the financial markets in general and don’t contain obscenity, racism, sexism, bullying or hate speech. Yet they get deleted anyway for no reason whatsoever.

Remove the new comments software
The new comments section is an absolute catastrophe. It is so simple-minded and useless that you might as well just get rid of it. The prime example of how useless it is. Is that the feedback link doesn't even work and has not worked for weeks? How do you ever expect to get any kind of feedback regarding the new comment software if you don't get feedback?

Fix the Community message boards
The changes to the community board, specifically for Micron, are not positive. The inability to mute users leaves the board dominated by posters who don’t advance knowledge or share useful thought. I’m dumber for going there so I am limiting my time and my input on that board.

Market Recap
Not to long ago you had a Yahoo Finance recap of the Stock Market of it's days ups, and downs. In other words, an analysis of why, and what occurred.
Please bring that back.
Thanks,
Tim R. Sissel

Bring back the Mute feature on Yahoo forums
The Block feature does not make the blocked person completely gone from what I read. I still see their posts at the top level.
I'd like to see something like the old Mute feature where a poster is completely "blocked" from appearing. The main wrong thing with that feature was that a post by a muted poster still leaves a footprint as "This user is muted". Removing that in the new Yahoo is good. But we need the option where a user is completely removed from the view of the person who mutes him/her.
