Proper reporting of revenues and expenses
With some frequency I find that Yahoo Finance, which I like very much, is improperly reporting earnings. Just today, (5/11/26) while showing that Bloom Energy's P/E ratio is not positive in the stats overview box, going down the page to look at the quarterly and annual numbers Yahoo is showing positive earnings, e.g., for FY25. Those data do not jibe. Google Finance correctly shows a BE loss for FY25.
This happens more often than one would expect, which makes it hard to trust the numbers Yahoo Finance is reporting. Thanks for looking into this

Yield on Cost Data Column
I would like to propose a data column which shows the dividend yield on cost. It calculates forward dividend / cost per share in percentage. Thank you!

Simplification of Holdings-Total Cash page
Mainly for split-screen users, the columns "Type" and "Currency" on the Total Cash page are an issue which could be overcome by their elimination or by becoming an optional column. For example, I manually transfer (or compare) data from by brokerage accounts on the right half screen to YF! on the left half. These two interloping columns cause the YF! side to be so large that seeing my "Notes" section (which designates which account a particular row covers) requires going to full screen then back to split screen. Message Board filters must improve
I post a message on the TSLA message board and it is deleted. This message was in response to a post about Tesla sales in China. I used data from Gemini to make my point which I thought wss okay.
Several of my posts have been deleted. I use no foul language and mostly try to be respectful to other posters. I also have an engineering and AI background which I use to inform other posters about my technical view of Tesla.

Revert to the former way of handling comments and feedback on the Finance blog.
They changes made several weeks ago have been uniformly condemned. The inability to mute a useless poster allows a massive number of irrelevant comments to fill inboxes. And removal of the thumbs down option takes away a useful feature. The changes seem to have been made by someone who's never used the Finance comments feature and had no idea what they were doing.

The censorship is insane
Will you please lighten up on the censorship. This isn't North Korea. It's the Yahoo Finance forums. 9 of of 10 of my posts are getting censored. This is getting beyond ridiculous. I've been using these forums in one way or another since the 90s, and the censorship has never been this bad. I love Yahoo Finance, but I can't use this anymore. I don't want to go elsewhere, but your censorship is giving me no choice.

Allow increased ticker limit for the portfolio chart for paid plans
Today I was suddenly getting a message that the portfolio chart cannot be shown if I have more than 200 tickers in my lists. This was working just fine the previous day, and happened without me changing anything, so I think it's a newer limit that has been put in place.
I'd like to request that if you are on a paid plan, the limit should be substantially higher, especially since stock tickers on a watchlist that do not contain holdings information should not even be factored into calculations to generate the portfolio chart.

The new comment section in yahoo finance doesn't work properly. If I type anything it posts and is then instantly deleted. Just a simple comment like "interesting" is deleted. Something is wrong with your system.

BUG Yahoo finance import csv
Hello,
THE BUG Yahoo finance import csv IS BROKEN, all the transactions are being imported as buys, tested it in all the possible combinations sell, short sell, negative, positive quantity, nothing works, everything is imported as a BUY only transaction, the export instead works fine.

Inconsistent performance
Try keep it up n running on a consistent basis. Constantly loosing my stock watching list. Quotes are frozen at times. Been w u guys for a Very long time. Good for the most part but over last few years I’m experiencing some issues. JW

list sec notifications on website and link to sec page
phone notif's are clumsy for me because when I read them they are not to scale and getting more context is easily done on site...i am on a standalone computer/laptop ... but these notif's come in haphazardly and I always have site open....ok stephen
