1. Moving Ticker tape at top of app

   Currently, the major indexes and currencies live at the top of the app. Wish this could be edited to include other indexes, or specific securities. Wish the actual list at the top could be changed to a watchlist. Wish you could turn on “Tape mode” and the tickers at top would auto scroll like a ticker tape.

2. New Notes function

   Add a notes area for a watchlist and for a ticker. Would be really great to define the watchlist, but more importantly to keep notes on what you are thinking about a ticker, what you like and dislike, what you are watching for, etc.

10. Header/footer on portfolio tables

    The header row (showing the column descriptors) disappears when I scroll down the portfolio table. Also the horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the portfolio table appears only when I scroll all the way down to the bottom of the portfolio table. I would like to see these two rows stay static on my screen (top and bottom of the portfolio view).

    i can not find the average for analyst recommendation you still list the total number of analyst and the number of analyst in each category from strong buy to strong sell but the average is missing

12. in advanced charts view bring back my polrfolio lists

    The list of my portfolios used to be in the Advanced chart field but now it is just your list of what you think we are supposed to see and not what we went to all the trouble of setting up in portfolios. Please bring it back as it saves an amazing amount of time

    New major issue as of early March 2025: Lost portfolio dock in the Advanced Chart view.

    In the Advanced Chart view, there used to be an option via a toggle to show your various stock portfolios and their holdings in a dock on the right-hand side. Why was this taken away? I heavily relied upon that for making decisions, and I don’t want to have to waste one of my screens by just sitting on the main page or the portfolios page, which appears to be other only place the portfolio dock is at the moment.

    If the portfolio dock was removed because people were complaining about slowness, those people can close the dock, close multiple Yahoo tabs (they do use up a lot of CPU per tab per Task Manager), and/or, like me, recognize that it’s time to upgrade your 5-10 year old PC to something that’s actually able to handle today’s modern-age website like Yahoo, which are consuming way more CPU than ever before. The lost opportunities and wasted time that result from a slow PC far exceed the cost of upgrading your PC a little more frequently than usual.

    Anyway…please vote ‘Yes’ if you agree that the portfolio dock needs to be returned to the Advanced Chart view. Thank you, and good luck investing!

    Other suggestions:

    1. Every idea posted on this forum has no time stamp. Yahoo should be adding a time-stamp for the obvious reason that older issues may be less relevant. In the meantime, I suggest adding a date in your title like I did.

    2. I understand the desire to vent, but making too generalized complaints like “the website sucks” isn’t helpful at all. Lacking a date, no one know what iteration of the website you are complaining about, and it’s sucking up space for actual suggestions like mine, where the Yahoo team has been offered a specific suggestion for improvement.

    Currently, one see the news on different tab unless click the title and switch away from current page. You may consider allow user to open the title links on different tabs.
