Add Symbols
When you click on Add Symbols, a pop-up window appears. Within this pop-up window, allow the user to enter more than 5 symbols instead of forcing the user to repeat the process multiple times. Why does the user have to click the checkbox to select the stocks he/she has already entered? This makes no sense. Enter the stock symbol(s) and click "Add Symbols". That's it, no fuss, no muss.

My dividends for SLXX.L and HMWO.L are both completely wrong. Other than this yahoo finance is great but I cannot use it if the dividend returns are all wrong

In charts, add the ability to enter a price point
In charts, add the ability to enter a price point (or two or three i.e. own/buy/sell that will appear as an icon on the company's line. Right now I'm trying to use star icon from the drawing tools to show where I own things, but it is not precise and is time consuming. Ideally from the ticker symbol in the left nav? If there's already a way to do this that I'm missing, disregard.

What happened to dark mode preference?
For maybe two months or so(?) I was using a "dark mode" option under preferences. In the past few days that is gone. Please bring it back. Note: I had to click on preferences each time I opened a new window to get it to work - just clicking on the preference cog, not actually the check-box again, but it was better than nothing.

In both Chrome and Brave, the stock charts will alternately display and then remove scrollbar on the right/bottom.
In both Chrome and Brave, the stock charts will alternately display and then remove scrollbar on the right/bottom every half second. This oscillation of the scrollbars appearing / disappearing causes the charts to appear to "wiggle" on my screen (they get wider and smaller every half second) and constantly reset. The constant movement gives me motion sickness. How could I use charts that move like this constantly. Why are the scrollbars appearing / disappearing like this? This happens at any zoom level. BRING BACK THE CLASSIC CHARTS - THIS IS GARBAGE!!!!!!!!!!

It is not Finance but the Yahoo new format on the news page that is annoying. Senior citizens do not adapt to changes easily,
Change the format on Yahoo news back to the original context. the new format is annoying in that you put a large photo and abbreviate the title of the article and to click on an article to find out what it is about only to find out you are not interested is annoying. Seniors do not adapt to change easily, the younger generations are more knowledgable and adapt easily. I do understand the use of all the advertising on both sides of the page and the reason for it, but it is annoying and needless to say I don't spend…

Download Historical Data
I subcribed to Yahoo in December 2024 to be able to download historical data for GSPC, RUT, RSP, QQQ, and Oil among other data. As of 1/16/2025 I am now unable to download historical data for several of these symbols. If this is not restored I will be asking for my money back and looking for other sources.

Settings
When I turn off Key Events, Tool Tip and Extended Hours, I expect them to STAY OFF, not turn back on every time I visit a stock page. Just another Yahoo downgrade from a previous version.k

Slow speed and heavy ram usage. Have to ad block to make it useable.
Site update is awful. Uses too much ram and is slow to respond now. Bring back old option for us who had a good system.

Serious memory leak in the new downgraded interface version
The newly downgraded Yahoo Finance interface is using 2GB RAM, 5GB swap space, and 80-96% processor, a typical malware/cryptominer behavior. Fortunately, the nohang process is killing it periodically. Will you please make available the previous stable version. Thanks!

high limit low limit
Seemed the column width was fixed a coupld days ago, now its back to taking up to much space. Also regarding the overall chart. I can see more columns in Chrome than in Firefox and more columns in Firefox than Microsoft. Slide bar is a good idea but we use to be able to scroll withing a row. If you have a couple hundred stocks on a list, scrolling down to the bottom to move back and forth doesnt work well. Maybe the slide bar could be moved to the top of the page? That may work well.
