   The majority of your news and headlines on the Yahoo finance homepage tend to be slightly left woke leaning. Yahoo finance definitely does not stay impartial, It always has a left-wing feel to it. Yahoo finance absolutely has no business trying to sway people's feelings one way or the other in the financial world because it Can have effects on the markets or at least contribute to the real time effects. Yahoo finance never has an upbeat pro-american feel to it, It is always quite the opposite.

3. Yahoo Finance Ticker Page no longer has holdings information

   I have my broker a/c linked to my yahoo finance a/c. So when I opened the page for a ticker symbol, the older UI of yahoo finance showed my total holdings of that ticker, cost basis, profit etc.. It was very convenient. Now, with the newer UI released in Dec 2024, they yanked that completely. Can you bring this back? Even if it's underneath a tab, that's fine. I can click once to get it.

6. New Mobile APP not Good

   The Mobile App view of your new site is bad. Before, you could shuttle left to right through 8 breaking, headlined stories by swiping. Return that feature. Now, you can only scroll down and the stories are low priority ones that stay constant most of the day.

   Quoting your AI assistant:
   Portfolio gain/loss values, symbols, and dock labels render black in all appearance modes, while chart colors remain normal. Include that you tested Firefox and Chrome on two PCs.

   Versions of FireFox were tested both before and after the recent update.
   Flushing cookies and cache has no effect.
   
   Changing appearance modes has no effect.

16. Please accept also SELL transaction in the CSV import feature

    Currently, the CSV Import function of Yahoo Finance is accepting this kind of CSV file:

    Symbol,Trade Date,Purchase Price,Quantity
    GOOG,2018-07-05,281.79,10

    which track BUY transactions only.
    But I also need to import SELL transactions, which my broker gives me in their export.

    I've tried all these combinations without any success:
    Symbol,Trade Date,Purchase Price,Quantity
    GOOG,2018-07-05,281.79,-10
    GOOG,2018-07-05,-281.79,10
    GOOG,2018-07-05,-281.79,-10

    Can you please modify the CSV import feature so that it can accept also SELL transactions?
    It could be something like a new "Type" column:
    Symbol,Trade Date,Purchase Price,Quantity,Type
    GOOG,2018-07-05,281.79,10,BUY
    GOOG,2026-08-09,1234.56,10,SELL

However, the cost basis calculation treats all cash on hand equally, regardless of its source. This causes dividend income to artificially inflate the overall cost basis per share, making it impossible to accurately track actual investment gains and losses.

    Problem:
    Currently, if a user has:

    -100 shares purchased at $50/share ($5,000 cost basis)
    -$200 in dividend income held as cash
    

    Yahoo Finance calculates cost basis as: ($5,000 + $200) ÷ 100 = $52/share

    This is inaccurate because the dividend income is not new invested capital—it's income generated from existing shares. The true cost basis per share remains $50.

    Requested Solution:
    Modify the cost basis calculation to distinguish between:

    -Capital invested (purchases and deposits of new money)
    -Income received (dividends, interest)
    

    This would allow cost basis to accurately reflect only actual capital invested, while tracking dividend income separately. Users could then see their true per-share cost basis and make more informed decisions about reinvesting dividends.

    Impact:

    -More accurate gain/loss calculations
    -Better tracking of dividend income for tax purposes
    -Improved clarity on actual investment basis versus income-generated cash

    Please show the exact dates when a stock reached its 52-week high and 52-week low, alongside the prices currently displayed on Yahoo Finance. For example: 52-Week High: $250.00 (08/15/26) and 52-Week Low: $150.00 (02/10/26). This information is extremely important for investors and traders because it helps them understand how recently these price levels occurred and better evaluate the stock's current price movement.     The news aggregation has deteriorated significantly over the last several months. There are news stories within a stock's page that are not showing up in the 'portfolio' page, when that same stock is in the portfolio. No one expects to have to click on each stock to see the news - that's what the portfolio page is supposed to aggregate

    I have already tested the following:

    Private browsing mode.
    Different internet connections, including office internet and Telkomsel mobile data.
    Different devices, including a mobile phone and a laptop.
