Add COMPACT view feature to the new view you forced us too like the old FINANCE view had. The new view is not compact enough for the deata the old view nicely showed most of without having to scroll much...or simply let us use the old view!

The majority of your news and headlines on the Yahoo finance homepage tend to be slightly left woke leaning. Yahoo finance definitely does not stay impartial, It always has a left-wing feel to it. Yahoo finance absolutely has no business trying to sway people's feelings one way or the other in the financial world because it Can have effects on the markets or at least contribute to the real time effects. Yahoo finance never has an upbeat pro-american feel to it, It is always quite the opposite.

Yahoo Finance Ticker Page no longer has holdings information
I have my broker a/c linked to my yahoo finance a/c. So when I opened the page for a ticker symbol, the older UI of yahoo finance showed my total holdings of that ticker, cost basis, profit etc.. It was very convenient. Now, with the newer UI released in Dec 2024, they yanked that completely. Can you bring this back? Even if it's underneath a tab, that's fine. I can click once to get it.

New Mobile APP not Good
The Mobile App view of your new site is bad. Before, you could shuttle left to right through 8 breaking, headlined stories by swiping. Return that feature. Now, you can only scroll down and the stories are low priority ones that stay constant most of the day.

I remained loyal long after you made the site so cumbersome with all the ad loads BECAUSE you allowed my bots to get the data I can't read. top arbitrarily removing comments for no valid reason
the comment or " community" section of the portfolio pages is much appreciated. However today my comments were being removed instantly. For no reason that I can determine. I was able to discuss this with a few other commenters and some said that is happening to them also. So why is yahoo doing that and how can we avoid having our comments removed? (beyond complying with the rules)

Remove data more than a year old from "Recent" category
I am reading information ranging from 2 months (most recent?) to 12 years old on the "Recent News" section of Yahoo Finance. Why? I was hoping to find information impacting TODAY and this week but found that instead. I still prefer the old version (5 years ago) of My.Yahoo.com and enjoyed using it as my homepage with my stocks up-to-date and not lost in articles pretending to be news but are advertisements and click-bait. Sorry but it's disappointing.

if there is news on a stock today it would be so helpful if there was an indicator beside the symbol. In my 30 years plus as an advisor - every quote service I ever used had that feature. It would be great to see it on Yahoo Finance.

PROBLEM ORDERING MY PORTFOLIOS
I am trying to rearrange the order of my various portfolios under "My Portfolios." I am NOT trying to rearrange the stocks within an individual portfolio.
When I drag my portfolios to change their order, the portfolios keep jumping to different positions while I am dragging them. They do not remain where I place them, making it impossible to establish the order I want.
There is also no "Done" button for this operation.
This appears to be a bug in the Yahoo Finance portfolio-list ordering function. Please investig

Fix Yahoo Finance homepage crash/freeze when logged into account
The desktop version of Yahoo Finance continuously locks up and freezes ("Page Unresponsive") across Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. The site ONLY works when using an Incognito/Private window while completely SIGNED OUT. The second I sign into my Yahoo account, the right-hand widgets hang, the entire page freezes, and it gives a wait popup. This indicates a corrupted default portfolio, watchlist, or sync dataset tied to my account profile on your servers. Please reset/clear my Yahoo Finance account homepage settings on the backend.

Englisch-Dutch (Nederlands) translation
Dear Sir/Madam,
I follow the US stock market on Yahoo Finance. My knowledge of English is quite good, yet I still use the translation function in Firefox. I do not know who is responsible for that translation feature, of course, but I have noticed a huge number of errors in the translation into Dutch.

Main portfolio page sorting is buggy - by name, balance, etc. are inaccurate
New bug in recent weeks. Main portfolio page listing sub-portfolios will not allow sorting of the sub-pages in the summary list. By name puts in some random order that isn't alpha by name. By value similarly puts in some order that isn't from large to small or small to large by total. Using drag icon to move a line puts in a random location in the list not where dropped.

Fix the Quote Lookup
Every other stock chart site I use allows you to type in the stock symbols in the quote lookup window in succession, without having to move your mouse each time to activate it again. When I'm searching a series of stocks it's a real pain to have to constantly leave my keyboard and use the mouse, then back to the keyboard. I know it's probably not a big deal to program it because as I said, all the other sites I use allow you to just keep typing in stock symbols and for a trader the seconds count!

Adding a 7 day popup window when clicking on ¨day change¨ figure in individual portfolio
when viewing your portfolios´ summary and there is the ¨day change¨ column, it would be very helpful if you can add a 7 day history of day change data when clicking on this figure; my idea is that when you click on today´s percentage and Dollar amount change a small popup window appears and tells you what the last 7 days´ day changes were so at a glance you can see where this particular portfolio is heading
