Daily Brief Suggestion
Hello, I been using yahoo finance for years to track portfolios, watchlists, and for a lot of my news.
I like the "Daily Brief" suggestion. Though I would like an option where it would show me news related to CERTAIN portolios.I have "3 portfolios". 1 is simply all the index and all the X sector ETFs. 1 is simply my childs savings / education fund filled with ETFs. Lastly my portfolio which is primarly individual stocks and some ETFs (70-30 split).

Slow Response
For some reason the response time when looking up various stock symbols has increased significantly on my computer. I reset Chrome, tried Edge and Firefox. I ran the Profession version of CCleaner to clean out my computer and update apps and drivers. I don't know what else to try. Did you change something on your end or is it my computer?

Fix the pages in Finance section

Words and links overlap making the site unusable. The new layout of the Finance section is unusable with intrusive ads.

new portfolio user defined field that defines the industry category for a given ticker
new field in yah portfolio custom view that would allow a user to identify the industry of a ticker ie utility, regBank, AItech, oils, semij-conductor... This would allow a user to sort on that field in order to better track industry representation of tickers included in the list rather than creating a secondary portfolio for the given industry which may have only 1 or 2 tickers

Wrong Dividend data for INFY.NS in the yahoo portfolio
The dividend should be in the INR currency for INFY.NS, but currently it is in the USD format distorting the portfolio numbers

Redesign the entire page
As time goes by the design of this web page looks more and more cluttered. It's an awful mess. It had a much better, utilitarian layout last year.

Left Aligned text on all Alpha or Alpha-Numeric fields
Why is my portfolio's company name field RIGHT JUSTIFIED?!
Should all Alpha or Alpha-numeric fields be LEFT JUSTIFIED??? If not, how about giving users an option to set the text alignment.

After 25 Years of Heavy-Use , Need to Move ON (YahooFinance! is NOT Useful anymore)
It is SO , SO , So BLOATED that even with a brand new computer YahooFinance! is PURE-TORTURE to try and use.
For someone like me, with a very large portfolio of securities and a long history of transactions to track I found it necessary to take quite a bit of time and create my own Excel spreadsheet to manage my portfolio.
The loading of even simple pages takes forever with banners, charts, videos poping up everywhere.
Even with a 25-inch monitor there is just too much "stuff" on the webpage and making any changes is like "working on a…

Need to make Annualized Gain accurate after a stock split
Example:
I bought 13 shares of ANET at 411.51 on 10/11/2024.
It split 4-for-1 on 12/3/2024, so now I have 52 shares with a cost/share about $102.
Current price is about 140.
On my Holdings tab, Yahoo displays a total gain of 36%, which seems accurate.
However, on a custom tab I made, Yahoo displays Annualized Gain as -65% which cannot be correct.
Apparently I have to adjust the transaction or split price to fix an error in the calculation, but I shouldn't have to do that.

Why cant I upload my csv file of ticker symbols
what kind of evil are you yahoo? do you always play these type of games....make some things work, make most things not work? I tried to load both and excel and notepad file that had csv extensions into starting a new portfolio and your system wouldnt let me! ugh!

Can you put a column that has Unrealized gains - realized gains to show whether the stock/etf/portfolio is actually at a profit or loss?

Inconsistent display of opening price
Hi Yahoo Finance Team,
I’ve noticed an inconsistency in your app that affects the accuracy of my analysis — especially when working with penny stocks, where precision is crucial.
The opening price shown in the daily chart window is often incorrect, while the correct value appears in the historical prices section. This discrepancy can lead to confusion and misjudgments, particularly when trading based on momentum.

Decimal Places
Please:
(1) Please express all currency values to 2 decimal places. Some market values are currently being expressed to 4dp. EXCEPT Yen values should be expressed to 0 decimal places (i.e. no SEN)
(2) All currency exchange rates should be expressed to 4 decimal places. eg EURGBP=X should be quoted as 0.8704 and not 0.87.EXCEPT Yen exchange rates should be quoted to 2dp.

Yahoo site loading has become slower recently.
Hi folks,
Yahoo Finance as an app / site has become a lot slower lately. Here's what I'm observing:
A lot of page data from a particular ticker seems to need to wait for the AI summary to load before displaying. This means the app feels a lot less responsive.
Overall site response times seem much slower.
I've run my network through standard latency and packet loss testing - everything checks out. This seems to be the app itself. It's such a relied-on tool for so many people, please check if there's anything behind this.

BRING BACK THE OLD YAHOO! FINANCE!
Seriously, WHY did you change it this new useless interface? I have a 34" monitor and the Yahoo! Finance portfolio screen is in the middle with nearly a foot of white screen on each side. Before I could view the entire portfolio on my screen (left to right). Now I have to scroll all the way to the bottom, move the slider over, and then scroll back to the top to see the headers.
You ruined a perfectly fine product for no reason whatsoever.

ACCURACY
YOUR PRODUCT HAS NUMERIC ERRORS. FOR EXAMPLE LOOKING AR TSM THIS MORNING - IT IS SHOWING STOCK IS UP AND IN REALITY THE STOCK IS DOWN. THIS ERROR FLOWS THROUGH YOUR SYSTEM RESULTING IN INCORRECT INFORMATION.
