  1. Suggestion for Enhancing Yahoo Finance Features

    Dear Yahoo Finance Team,

    In the past, I suggested implementing a light/dark (day/night) mode for your Yahoo Finance website and app, and I’m pleased to see that you’ve added this feature—thank you!

    I have another suggestion that I believe would significantly improve the platform’s functionality and usability: please consider adding options for tax reduction calculations and currency purchase/cost conversions in the Total Holdings tab. For example, users could input their applicable tax rate (in my case, as an Israeli citizen, it’s 25% on all dividends) to see a more accurate representation of their net returns.

  2. Fix Yahoo finance!

    It used to be the best one out there but it's lost it's reliability. It is slow! Reordering portfolios slow if it works at all.

  3. Voice of the DNC

    Being that Yahoo Finance is to be a financial resource, acting as voice for the DNC (primarily an anti-Trump agenda) deteriorates its value. For example Rick's presentation of "16 M Americans" losing healthcare benefits under the Big Beautiful Bill is a misrepresentation. A good share of the 16M aren't Americans, they're not citizens, they're illegal immigrants. From a financial perspective, it is best for "Americans" not to carry this undue burden, and its against our immigration policies (set up to protect citizens). In addition to the illegal immigrants, those of working age and ability will lose benefits-duly because they should…

  4. chart - new interval select needs work

    please implement better logic on the relation between the span and interval select. If the span is 1 Day, why does the interval select have options longer than a day? and if span is 1 Day and in interval I pick 1 Week, the chart reloads with span set to what? It doesn't indicate. Looks like either 5 Year or All. Point is if I change span, interval should provide relevant options.
    Maybe make both the span and interval selects interactive where each option opens an adjacent new select with the relevant options?
    How could you launch such a significant…

  5. chart time span new dropdown NOT helpful (1D 5D 1M...)

    I HATE the new <select> you are forcing us to use to select the span of a chart.
    The space saved by taking away the span buttons (1D 5D 1M...) is not improved by putting the span options into a dropdown.Fewer clicks is better - the new select requires a second click. Less mouse movement is better (I am mouse challenged) and the select forces me to move my mouse a second time, after activating the select, to then have to move my mouse again to the option.

    One suggestion for your app that I think would be nice to have would be an industry/sector section with industry specific news, trends, and industry leaders/loosers.

  11. Stop getting in the way of posts that mention YouTube

    Many companies post their earnings webinars on YouTube. You people are being ******** for not allowing commenters to send people there for more info. FFS. I might as well stop using Yahoo finance if all you do is restrict things for stupid selfish reasons. I have seen other people in other forums who said they have already done so. You are chasing people away. No wonder Yahoo is fading. Yahoo Finance is one of the only things still going, and you are wrecking by annoying people off the site.

  13. Freeze the top header row!! The first column is frozen, so the header row should be as well.

    Just like in an Excel spreadsheet, it's too cumbersome to have to scroll up to see what each column is. Just freeze the top Header row (much like how the left column is frozen).

  14. I've had two comments rejected talking about community guidelines.

    First, you need to make community guidelines more readily retrievable. Secondly, your algorithm is sorely lacking and needs a great deal of enhancing! If you're only looking to positive statements, those of us who understand government workings and know economics have little to say positive cause we know what's down the road!!! We need to face reality and respond or criticize appropriately!!! Third, I have over 40 years DP experience and went through a similar situation with AOL. As an example, AOL screening was rejecting my comments based on words actually used in the article!! They seem to have improved…

    The daily close data for 1st July 2025 for the following appears to be broken - appears to be using a USD value instead of GBP:

  17. Wrong ticker info for VUSA.AS

    I noticed a large spike in the ticker VUSA.AS. The price went up to 117 euro on July 1 and than back to 99 euro. This does not match with any other stock info. I also only see this spike in the 1 month lookback and when using the ticker with the python API (where it now messes up my analysis. hence, this message). Could you have a look?

  18. GPD/USD currency reporting in the dock!!!

    For some reason the Dock change to USD/GBP after being GBP/USD for over a decade. In addition, it is still GBP/USD on the mobile, can you make up your mind and pick one - preferably GBP/USD (like you have EUR/USD)?

  19. Porfolio Realized gain is wrong due to miss match in currency for Dividend

    Some of the portfolio records are miss matching the currency. The porfolio is tracked under INR and the dividend for few shares are evaluated as $ which is providing inaccurate "Realized gain"

  20. Needs to be monitored by a human, not AI

    Finance page is a joke. Prime example. Go to Finance page, look up stock symbol OXLC. Go to comments, look through all the comments that show-"This user is muted" multiple and multiple comments. Very difficult to see the REAL comments. Can Someone at Yahoo do something about this. VERY RIDICULOUS to have to go through this. Thanks, Bill Gillespie, angeldeerhnd@yahoo.com
