The ENHANCED Yahoo!Finance has been with us (optional & forced) for a few months now. One would think that regular heavy users of the website who have been polled by now on what we think about the changes.

The flood of angry comments saying bring back the better and faster old yahoo finance are overwhelming. Stop ignoring us by closing away all the threads and bring it back.

I should be able to download S&P500 data as a poremium member.
I pay for the ability to use the download historical data on yahoo finance but I am unable to do so for the S&P500 index. This is quite ridiculous as I pay $50/month for this specific feature and can't even download data for the most well known fund on the market. Extremely upset by this.

Make it easy to unmute people on Finance community
At this time, once you mute someone that person can't be unmuted because the three dots go away.
Keep the three dots next to the person who is muted.
I accidentally muted someone I wanted to talk to because his name was just below someone I was talking to.
I went to Yahoo help but it is out of date. When someone is muted the three dots goes away.265th ranked -

You keep making these ridiculous changes, and all you're doing is making things worse! You had a good product; easy to navigate, easy to understand. Now, charts overlap, there is no point of focus, it's just a jumbled mess. You can do better! You used to BE better. Please, put it back!

Rebasing portfolio in US$ terms
Hi, as I have portfolio in multiple currencies, Yahoo at this time doesn't rebase back into US$ at the "All Portfolio Holdings". It will be great if Yahoo automatically calculates the Acquisition Cost at USD/ForeignFX rate on the Buy date, and also calculate the Market Value or Unrealized Gain/Loss by the same method, on Spot day. Thanks

New Finance Home Page Layout is GARBAGE!!!
This new home page is garbage and is so lag ridden it's a complete mess. At least give me the option to go back to the old functioning home page. Absolutely shameless...

Edit / Enter dividends transactions manually
I have manually set up a portfolio. Yahoo imports automatically all dividend transactions and they are not 100% correct. I don't have the option of correcting these incorrect transactions or add dividend transactions in order to correct the total dividends.
I would like to have this option of editing dividend transactions and add some myself if necessary265th ranked -

The Enhanced Portfolio is great. However I spotted a problem today.
I set up a portfolio of HKEx Stocks in Hong Kong Dollars. I only realised today that the dividends have been multiplied by the HK$:US$ exchange rate unnecessarily, resulting in the dividends being inflated.
It appeared that the system had assumed the dividends paid was denominated in US$ despite it being a Hong Kong stock paying out dividends in HK$.
Granted that a company could elect to pay dividends in any currency. it might be necessary to enable the end-user to select the dividends…265th ranked -

Go Back to old format
Even getting AT&T fiber optic can not get the yahoo finance to load any faster. So sick of waiting minutes and minutes for the pages to load. This has been terrible since this new format started a year or so ago!!!!!!!

Default sort of holdings should be the order in which they were entered
The add symbol function does not behave consistently. Each month, I remove all the entries and replace them with an ordered, current list of holdings. It is usually around 100 entries. The dialog, regrettably, is limited to five symbols at a time. That is bad enough (and much more time consuming than the classic finance interface which could import more than 100 symbols nearly instantly), but the order of entry is lost because the interface sometimes, apparently, remembers the prior five (or ten) when five new ones are submitted. Most of the time, it responds with "five symbols added successfully."…
