Excel .iqy quote functionality
The recent changes you've made to the website really suck for the little guys who would simply use excel iqy functionality to automatically update price information once a month. Now, instead of a single click in excel and having current price information update using a URL something like this (for example):
https://au.finance.yahoo.com/quotes/WBC.AX,CBA.AX,NAB.AX,BHP.AX,VONE,VAS.AX,GSBK54.AX/
Just an example, but put whatever tickers you want in there^.
And it wasn't for bulk historical data or anything - just a really neat way to update current market price for a long range of stocks once a month instead of doing it manually.
Would be nice…

Page Unresponsive - My WatchList is less responsive
My Watchlist has been less responsive the past few days on different computers.
Scrolling through My Watchlist or deleting symbols frequently results in lag or a freeze of numerous seconds and a subsequent "Page Unresponsive" message from Google Chrome.

Site is unbearably slow the last month or two
I've used Yahoo Finance for years, but over the last few months, something has changed. It's nearly unusable as it's so slow. Often, the tickers in the right column (US, Europe, Asia, Rates, Commodities, etc) show up in another language ..I've seen German, French, some Asian language - even though the rest of the site is in English. Often when I click on any of the words, nothing works..and I have to refresh the page (which takes forever to load). I have a blazing fast internet connection and other sites load nearly instantaneously..and Yahoo Finance used to load in a…

Suggestion for Enhancing Yahoo Finance Features
Dear Yahoo Finance Team,
In the past, I suggested implementing a light/dark (day/night) mode for your Yahoo Finance website and app, and I’m pleased to see that you’ve added this feature—thank you!
I have another suggestion that I believe would significantly improve the platform’s functionality and usability: please consider adding options for tax reduction calculations and currency purchase/cost conversions in the Total Holdings tab. For example, users could input their applicable tax rate (in my case, as an Israeli citizen, it’s 25% on all dividends) to see a more accurate representation of their net returns.

Voice of the DNC
Being that Yahoo Finance is to be a financial resource, acting as voice for the DNC (primarily an anti-Trump agenda) deteriorates its value. For example Rick's presentation of "16 M Americans" losing healthcare benefits under the Big Beautiful Bill is a misrepresentation. A good share of the 16M aren't Americans, they're not citizens, they're illegal immigrants. From a financial perspective, it is best for "Americans" not to carry this undue burden, and its against our immigration policies (set up to protect citizens). chart - new interval select needs work
please implement better logic on the relation between the span and interval select. If the span is 1 Day, why does the interval select have options longer than a day? and if span is 1 Day and in interval I pick 1 Week, the chart reloads with span set to what? It doesn't indicate. Looks like either 5 Year or All. Point is if I change span, interval should provide relevant options.
Maybe make both the span and interval selects interactive where each option opens an adjacent new select with the relevant options?

I HATE the new <select> you are forcing us to use to select the span of a chart.
The space saved by taking away the span buttons (1D 5D 1M...) is not improved by putting the span options into a dropdown.Fewer clicks is better - the new select requires a second click. Less mouse movement is better (I am mouse challenged) and the select forces me to move my mouse a second time, after activating the select, to then have to move my mouse again to the option.265th ranked -

Stop getting in the way of posts that mention YouTube
Many companies post their earnings webinars on YouTube. You people are being ******** for not allowing commenters to send people there for more info. FFS. I might as well stop using Yahoo finance if all you do is restrict things for stupid selfish reasons. I have seen other people in other forums who said they have already done so. You are chasing people away. No wonder Yahoo is fading. Yahoo Finance is one of the only things still going, and you are wrecking by annoying people off the site.

Freeze the top header row!! The first column is frozen, so the header row should be as well.
Just like in an Excel spreadsheet, it's too cumbersome to have to scroll up to see what each column is. Just freeze the top Header row (much like how the left column is frozen).
