WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

    How do I make the mailbox stop automatically going to the 'Primary' tab? I'd prefer it to be on the 'All' tab all the time.

    I am missing emails because of this Primary tab prioritization.
    I need an ALL option to be my default, and currently I cannot change the default setting.

  7. Allow me to select All Mail as my default mailbox not priority

    I absolutely hate that priority mail is the default mailbox. You don't know what my priorities are. I am missing important emails because they are not showing up in my inbox. Allowing a user to select "all mail" as their default would solve this problem.

  8. Way too much spam not filtered - its so easy to do

    You guys havent figured out how to root out simple spam - cant believe you guys dont have the expertise like Google and others. So many goes into our inbox and simple domain check shows all nonsense domains adveritsing as Comcast, Netflix, paypal, costco etc. Very simple to block it and you should reach out to yahoo mail users for easy fixes. I am sure there are so many folks who can help you make yahoo mail one of the best.

  9. unread mail doesn't show up on primary list

    Yahoo tab at the top of my browser shows I have new mail. When I click on the mail tab, primary mail is listed (as default) but there is no unread mail shown. If I click on the "all" tab I can see unread mail here along with everything in my "primary" listing. Why doesn't unread mail just show up on my primary list like it used to? Alternately, if I could make the "all" list the default setting I would immediately see the unread mail. Why is it when programmers "improve" a program they seem to break more stuff?

  12. SPAM

    There is a major problem with Spam emails. No matter how many filters I set, senders block, send to spam, etc., there are emails that are making it to my inbox. The addresses are complexly long-charactered and the spam/junk filters just aren't doing what they are supposed to. This does not happen on any other email client.

  13. Why did you make the option to block spam emails disappear

    Why did you make the option to tick all and easily block all the email senders in spam go away. You made it disappear and now the three lines only let you star and unstar it's so annoying. The new email has all kinds of features that appear and disappear at random and you can no longer use them. Please bring the permanant blocking for spam back. Please allow us to use control plus and make the mail big enough and stop telling us to go to basic if we want to do that. You didn't use to do that…

  14. What to do if I want to increase the storage by yearly basis or so

    Hello,
    I am suggested by Yahoo to increase my storage, however, it needs to pay every month which is complicated for me. I want to pay for a quite long time at a time. What Can I do for it?

  18. CLEANING OUT YOUR INBOXES

    i HAVE CLEANED OUT MY MSG ALL OF MY TRASH, SPAM, UNREAD, ERASED SOME OF MY ATTACHMENT AND MY SENT MSG AND MY STORAGE IS STILL SAYING THE SAME THING I WILL NOT BE UP GRADING MY STORAGE SO PLESASE FIX THE ISSUE WITH MY STORAGE

  20. PROBLEM WITH UPGRADING TO HAVE MORE STORAGE, NOT LIVING IN THE USA, BUT IN SWITZERLAND, AND THUS OPERATION NOT A CCEPTED

    My account is "luisperezbayas@yahoo.com"and I am located in SWITZERLAND.

    I am informed that MY MAILBOX STORAGE IS FULL.

    But when I want to upgrade BY ADDING STORAGE, I fill every slot with the right information (Name, Address)

    BUT I CANNOT GO OUT OF THE US; IT DOESN'T LET ME ACCESS FOREIGN COUNTRIES,
    BUT ONLY THE STATES OF USA, AND OF COURSE MY ZIP CODE IS WRONG AND THE WHOLE OPERATION IS NOT ACCEPTED;
    IN ADDITION I AM WARNED THAT MY YAHOO ACCOUNT WILL BE CUT AND NON FUNCTIONAL IN 7 DAYS.
