2. Coming Soon: Default to "ALL" Instead of "Priority"

   I will often let Offers and Newsletters pile up for a while, then go through them all in one go. But, annoyingly, if I open a message from, say, the Newsletters view, then move the message to a folder, I get put back into Priority view - argh! It should return to the most recent view I was using (Newsletters).

3. Inbox Categories Options

   In playing with my email settings (and realizing I definitely prefer having the inbox categories disabled), I've realized that the option to presort/filter my mail with a quick button click is actually really handy. Here are some ideas for tweaking it to make it more user-specific.

   1. Please please please, let me set which filter I want as my default and/or allow the option to just go back to the last used filter. I hate that it keeps going back to the 'priority' filter.

   2. It would be nice to be able to select which filters I want being used. I don't get anything I would qualify as an 'offer' or 'social' in some emails, so being able to declutter that top section would be nice.

   3. Similar to #2, it would be nice to have a wider range of available filters ('unread' is the first one that comes to mind).

   4. Having the option to create a personalized filter would also be handy. Filter options such as email, subject matter, or keywords are the first things that come to mind.

   5. The priority filter would be more useful if I could mark emails as 'non-priority' or 'priority'. I don't care if the AI uses my input to determine whether something is priority, but without the ability to personalize what is considered 'priority' the filter is unreliable because I'll still have to go through the entire inbox to see if the AI missed anything.

4. Duplicate attachments

   It seems that all my old emails now have the attachments duplicated. For example if the original email had attachment X, attachment Y, and attachment Z it now still has those been then it also has a second copy of attachment X, attachment, Y and attachment Z. This has just seemed to start happening in the last few weeks and I do not understand why. I have had the free yahoo mail service for almost 20 years and recently noticed that yahoo mail is now putting storage limits on this account type and wanting those with large amounts of data to upgrade to a paid service. Are those duplicate attachments in all those old emails counting towards the total storage amount?

5. sort by sender name

   AAARGH!! The switch to anew E-Mail format UGH! I wish I could go back to the old way of reading E-Mail. I used to be able to sort by sender but now I can't!? What happened? I also like to be able to sort by date received, or newest received. Yes I use these sorts to find E-Mails. Oh the other idea is to find E-Mail that has an attachment.

   I don't why this is an issue. It was working a week or so ago and now seems to be gone. Please, please let me know ASAP. Brian Berube

6. MOVE option not working

   I receive messages from EBAY concerning automatic searches I have set up with them Most of these correctly go to the OFFERS folder but some go to PRIORITY. I select the message in PRIORITY and clicked on MOVE, select MORE OPTIONS. change the pull-down menu to OFFERS and click the MOVE button. The message disappears from PRIORITY. When I click to OFFERS folder, that message from EBAY is not there. I checked the other folder and it is not in either of them. If I go back to the PRIORITY folder, the EBAY message is there.

7. Feature Request: Follow-Up Reminders in Yahoo Mail

   Dear Yahoo Mail Team,

   I’d like to suggest a useful feature that could enhance Yahoo Mail's functionality: follow-up reminders for emails. Gmail has an option that automatically reminds users to follow up on emails they haven't received replies to, helping to ensure important conversations don’t get lost.

   A similar feature in Yahoo Mail would be incredibly beneficial for users who manage busy inboxes and need a prompt to revisit unanswered emails. Having a built-in follow-up reminder would improve email organization and efficiency.

   I’d love to hear your thoughts on this idea and whether Yahoo Mail might consider implementing something similar. Thanks for your time!
