The ablity for the user to customize their inbox - with options of the old inbox with optional new features.
The problem is, the inbox is too busy looking. With ads constantly popping up, computers are freezing, and the inbox is extremely bulky-looking. It's hard to differentiate an actual email from an Ad. Its cluttered and not user-friendly. No, I do not care about "rewards" for reading and sending emails. That is a horrible concept and should be discontinued.

Display mail in proper chronological order
Seriously, the current display of an email thread is the dumbest thing ever. You jump the chronology around. I start with oldest, shows some nested, then jumps to the most recent and then proceeds to show more nested. Like, wtf am I even looking at? It is SO confusing and is UNBELIEVABLY frustrating to receive content that's threaded here. It shouldn't be hard. Oldest at the bottom of the thread, newest at top - maybe even offer the choice. No break in chronology. Ideally, don't duplicate. And for the love of god, don't show nested content indented like Microsoft -…

Question about my yahoo mail
Why can't I switch my yahoo mail back to basic or classic mail even though I cleared the cache and clicked on button setting and more setting, but the basic mail option does not show? My account is spwl20017@yahoo.com.
Unfortunately, there is no reverting back. Very sorry! We are EOLing the old version. We hope you give the new layout a fair chance. Thanks so much!

SORTING!!!!
There is NO WAY now to sort by sender. How can you have an email that doesn't sort by sender?
We do have this ability! Just like the old version, you need to disable Conversation view as you cannot sort by sender when this is enabled. Once you disable Conversation view under your Settings, "Sender name" will be a sorting option. Thanks.

The Star option should be put back. I can't find it easily.
I do not like the new yahoo email. Especially that it is harder to mark important email. I have to hover over an invisible area to have a star pop up that I can click. I'm literally hovering over nothing to see a start to click on. It makes no sense. The star worked fine where it was before. I'm glad I have a gmail account. I might just start using that more.
We currently have no plans in changing the star icon. Very sorry! Good luck!

set to all emails
I am not stupid, I want all the emails to show in my inbox, not have to find the "all" button to see them. Yahoo has no right to decide for me what emails are "priority" to me. I have tried this system before and it has failed.

Support for Comcast
My comcast account was transferred to yahoo mail. All of my folders are empty. I can't find anyone to help me, I tried opening up a request to restore my emails but cannot find a way to describe my issue. None of the options were valid. I had to select that I accidentally deleted to get the request open.

Remove the streak game
Put my email back to what it was! I don’t want games when I’m trying to check my email. This is awful.
Yes, we launched a fun way to reward our users for reading and organizing your emails, but you do not have to participate (not forced). Friendly reminder to always check your Settings. You can disable Streaks by going to "..." (three dots) > Your Streaks.

Just stop with the “improvements”
I do not like the new format. I am already wearing glasses. The “new and improved” format is worse. I can barely see what I am reading. I only get half the email to read because the layout is different. Really wish people would just leave well enough alone and stop with the “improvements”.
Hi Dan, unfortunately there will always be improvements and changes. As do all products! Friendly reminder to always check your Settings. We do launch new changes and features, but most of the time you can disable or customize it to your liking under Settings.

The lay needs a lot of work. Also this new version does not allow you to change the color it REALLY BORING AND BLAND
I love the other version where you were allow to change the color and the font was better as well. The looks a lot like gmail which is why I stay with yahoo.com now whats the point

Better junk mail blockers
i'm getting way too many spam/scam emails. The filters need to do a better job of detecting fake email addresses and identifying them as junk.

Please fix your Spam and Not Spam filtering.
Your Spam / Not Spam is not working at all. I find Linked In constantly in Spam as well as other senders I need the mail from. I find sexually disgusting emails in both my mail and Spam. This should not even be delivered. It should be stopped by Yahoo before it gets to our email.

Renaming Folders
Just tried to change the name of a number of my email folders and after changing them and receiving a confirmation message they had been changed none of them changed. I have several folders titled INBOX/......
..... being the desired name of the folders. Any suggestions about how to change them? -

Why are you selecting spam I am missing emails because you deem them to be junk and there is no easy way to mark them as not spam - WTF - how come you did this? so sad... Let me mark people as safe and junk I don't need you to do it

Im SICK of blocking vulgar spam messages!
If you block an address it should remain blocked - yet you allow the vulgarity to get thru! The fact that your not blocking them tells me - your allowing it!

Terrible service
Receive an excessive amount of offensive pornograghic junk mail that are not filtered despite marking them as spam and block.

LEAVE THE DEFAULT EMAIL STATUS AT "ALL", NOT "PRIMARY"... OR HAVE A WAY THAT WE CAN SET OUR OWN DEFAULT. SICK AND TIRED EVERY TIME I LOG IN OF SEEING THIS WORTHLESS "PRIMARY" FILTER ARBITRARILY WHITTLE MY VISIBLE EMAIL LIST DOWN TO HALF A DOZEN EMAILS WHEN I WANT TO SEE MY ENTIRE LIST. IT'S NOT EVEN CONSISTENT WHAT IT CALLS "PRIMARY" OR NOT!!!
