Keeping older emails in the inbox
I don't have an idea, I have a complaint. I had years' worth of "read" emails that I had saved in my inbox & all of a sudden they were completely deleted & erased from my inbox. I don't know why that was done, but those were emails that were a) sentimental b/c the senders are deceased; b) very important for my financing and c) contained personal information that I needed for recent & future transactions. They are all gone & I can't find them in any of the other folders. Please leave the inboxes alone even if the emails…

Block domain for an email directly from the email
Would be nice to block a domain for a sender of unwanted emails directly when I am in the email just like I can block a particular sender. It would save a lot of steps related to having to open setting and then go the the security/privacy selection to accomplish this task. Would make the process more effective and easier.

Allow more customizations for notifications
Please add more customizing of notifications. I can't stand that I get notifications for 'daily check ins' or 'catch ups' with my mail. I also can't stand that when I open my email, it defaults to showing only Primary emails instead of All emails. Please improve.

We just need one inbox, yahoo doesn't know what is a priority or anything else. Just use one inbox.

IT DOES NOT SEPARATE SPAM EMAILS. I WAS SPAMMED!!!! THAT IS YAHOO ALLOWING SPAMMERS INTO YAHOO. THEY USED TO HAVE SECURITY FOR THEIR USERS NOW THEY HAVE NOTHING.......

Improve spam filters instead of adding other garbage
I only use my Yahoo email address for websites I don't fully trust (marketing/newsletters/loyalty programs), so about 75% of my daily email is spam from third-party companies, data breach email lists, etc. I don't mean junk I subscribed to, I mean "your cloud account is suspended", "get your free dewalt tool likt", etc. spam. I don't go a day without having to mark at least one email, usually more, as spam instead of being filtered.
If you really want people to use your product more, work on better spam filtering instead of newer layouts and the "inbox cleanup challenge" garbage.…

Improve spam detection
I have received over 2,000 spam emails in the last year and a half, a problem I don't have with my other inboxes. I am starting to think that you sold my data.

Make e-mail summaries at the top of the email optional! They delay me, wasting my time, and are not dependable. I HATE THEM!!!
I want to get rid of the summaries that appear at the top of each email. Some people may like them. I HATE THEM! At least give us the option of getting rid of them.

Less Spam
I've gotten way more spam in the last few months. I don't want to leave this account behind, but if 95% of my emails in my inbox are spam, there's a point where managing becomes not worth it.

Allow the user to select fixed sorting priorities instead of Yahoo arbitrarily changing the setting.
Allow me to permanently select "All" as the filter for emails. You FORCE the selection to "Priority" without my input thereby causing me to not see new emails in a timely manner. I AM TIRED OF HAVING TO MAKE THIS REQUEST.

"All" needs to be the default folder view of Yahoo Mail
How can I make "All" my default box? Hate this new tool forced onto me ... just like I hated the new Yahoo.Finance forced onto me. For the life of me I cannot understand why Yahoo developers are forcing inferior products onto its consumer base. Just makes NO sense, at all. Unless, of course, the aim is to drive them off the platform.

Why am I not getting all of my emails from my Cox email account?
As of a few days ago (that I noticed) I am not receiving all of my emails on my desktop from my Cox email address. This is concerning as I get some very important emails that I only know that I am not getting here is because I do get them on my phone. It is important that I be able to access these emails because I need to attach items from my desktop in my responses.

Email Summary, Why?
Not sure if this belongs in Priority Inbox, but what's the point in an email summary? I can see the email right there and can read it. Priority Inbox? Now I have to trust that your AI isn't going to hide an important email from me? I think not.

Simplify format and viewing options.
This format is terrible. Multiple inboxes and the inability to easily sort be sender is terrible. It's like gMail but worse.

I want the option of which category to pick for my email account to open to. I don't want Primary. I want ALL. If i want to filter down, that is great. But I don't want to have to remember to click thru other categories to see any email. I don't have that many and I don't want category dictated to me.

I want to see All of my mail All of the time!!! Your idea of priority and mine seem to be 2 different things!!! Due to your changes I missed several important emails that were lost. Please just list all my emails and let me decide where they need to go! Thank you.

Why do I have to select ALL?
Why do I have to select ALL in my inbox to view all of my new e-mails?
I do NOT want Yahoo to just show me what IT DETERMINES is MY PRIORITY emails.

All messages default; trash can icon for multiple delete option
I want to default to the "all" setting for the inbox, not the "primary" setting. I know what's a primary email, and AI doesn't. How do I do that?
Why isn't there a trash can icon for deleting multiple selected email messages at the same time?
