The "Drafts" icon no longer shows the number of active drafts
In the old version I was able to see how many drafts were currently in the Drafts folder.
This is no longer possible for some reason
Please fix.

Arrow to view subfolders of subfolders no longer visible
When the left side of the screen is expanded to show folders, if a subfolder name is too long, the drop-down arrow to show the subfolders under that folder is no longer visible. This is a new issue. Previously, the folder name would be truncated so that the arrow was always visible. Now, I can't access the subfolders of a subfolder unless I close the left-hand column, click on the icon for Folders, and choose the subfolder's subfolders through the pop-up box. Please fix this ASAP so that the drop-down arrows to access subfolders are again always visible.

The old system displayed emails in date order - newest at the top. Simple and easy to use.
The new system seems to have no order. Its hard to find the newest email. When you want to reply its hard to find the place to type.Friendly reminder to always check your Settings. Yes, we introduced Inbox Categories to help organize your emails better, but we also understand that not everyone would need or want, therefore, you can disable it under your Settings and go back to having just one Inbox.

The new sub-topics
I really dislike the new headings, All, Primary, etc. It just makes it more complicated than it needs to be. The old format was much better, where everything came into either the inbox or spam box. Again, I do not see this as any kind of improvement.

new e-mail looks is completely unclear. Now I had miss a lot of important information due to unclear and The appearance is unreadable. There's very little difference between read and new messages. The font is too large.
Unfortunately, I can't revert to the old email layout. I switched to the new layout due to unclear instructions from Yahoo. The messages are completely chaotic. I'm considering canceling your service after almost 30 years.

Return to old yahoo mail
I don't like the new layout and I don't like the categories. You make assumptions on what my priorities are. I can sort my own e-mails and move them to folders the way I want.
The format and layout were better in the old version. At least you changed it so AI summaries can be disable because they was the biggest waste of development time and space.

Default to all
Right now when i log into yahoo mail, the default listing is "Primary".
I can select the mail view to be "all", "Primary", "Offers", "Social", and "Newsletters"
I would like to set my default dashboard to "All" upon log in and filter from there as I see fit.
Also, Don't ever put AI summaries in an email I open. I scored really high on comprehension and your AI didn't.

the new UI for yahoo email is s basic and hard to read. CLassic mail even with ads is easier to use and better organized
Yahoo mail seems to default to another category instead of seeing all. The starred email column on the right is very distracting. Go back to the classic look. it is so much better or make it more similar. I would pay for that version. I hate the new UI in yahoo email

Allow us to have ALL folders Visible
Folders are no longer visible and CANNOT find a way to make them visible. In order for me to navigate i have to guess If i already have a folder or not....

Sort by subject - PLEASE !!!!
Please - you must add sort by subject as an option ... that is the way to quickly and efficiently process your emails.

The new Yahoo is terrible.
The old Yahoo mail was much easier to navigate. I had all my mail boxes listed in one place. Now it is a nightmare to navigate. Reversion to the previous Yahoo mail would be preferred. I may just start to use google if it stays the same. do not like this at all

stop the AI
Ever since you have gone to the AI summary of an email, which is unnecessary for me, the entire management of the inbox has slowed down significantly. It is very frustrating to bulk select and delete emails anymore. I don't know what happened, but I think it started around the time that you introduced the AI summaries. Please go back to the easy old way to use Yahoo. I have had an email account with you for more than a decade. Your platform was the best until the last few months.

Clicking on Folders should open the folders

Make Archive the actual Archive, get rid of Priority
- Archive box is supposed to store SELECTED e-mails. Now it is random e-mails. Not sure what it is actually. I lost my storred archives. Do you even know what "Archive" means? Google it.
- The Priority inbox is confusing. Who are you to tell me what is priority for ME!? Just have one INBOX.

I hate the "priortiy" mail tabs.
Why can't we just see all emails? I have missed important emails because of this new feature. It sucks - go back to the old.
One new feature I do like it the abilty to seach the files by name. -
Stop trying to sort the emails
I am so tired of the new Yahoo mail. The system has this idea it knows what how to sort my mail. It automatically puts me in "Primary" when I'm looking at emails. I have all these emails to look at, and the system is only shows me a tiny few, I want to see all the emails because I know what is important and what is not. Stop making Primary a default place to start looking at mail. You need to put an option where you choose the default on how your mail is sorted. Even when I'm away…
