Make Archive the actual Archive, get rid of Priority
- Archive box is supposed to store SELECTED e-mails. Now it is random e-mails. Not sure what it is actually. I lost my storred archives. Do you even know what "Archive" means? Google it.
- The Priority inbox is confusing. Who are you to tell me what is priority for ME!? Just have one INBOX.

I hate the "priortiy" mail tabs.
Why can't we just see all emails? I have missed important emails because of this new feature. It sucks - go back to the old.
One new feature I do like it the abilty to seach the files by name. -
"All" should be set by default and Stay
I would like my view to be set by default to "All" and stay that way until I change. It seems that if I view my inbox with "All" and perform a certain function my view loses the "All" setting and I must select it again.

How do I get my folders to show on the left hand side. There's just an icon that says folders. I need them to appear as a list below that.

folders open in view
My folders used to be in view so I could view them and move mails easily. Now I need to click into folders to then select the folder to use. This additional click was not there before.

Expand Folder list
The latest version of Yahoo mail doesn't automatically expand and show the full list of my folder names. I would like this listed and not have to open a popup window and scroll down through all my folder names.

Scrolling in emails
When viewing email (on my Chromebook plus) by double-clicking it, I can't use my arrow keys to move up and down through the email. Space bar won't scroll by full page, either. These are standard web page navigation techniques. Please fix soon!

Provide a setting to default to "All" or "Primary" for your inbox
Typically, I want to see ALL my emails, not just what's "primary". Provide a setting so users can choose what they want their default to be. Or simply have it persist to continue using the one that was last selected.

Please remove Challenge Completed, on my screen it hides the scroll bar. Or move it somewhere else.

Can't see the created folders at all. This is a truly substandard version of email.

STOP HIDING THE FOLDERS AND # OF UNREAD IN FOLDERS
I have set up a gazillion filters and folders across 4 different yahoo emails that I use for business, personal and girl scout purposes and use these religiously every day. Your new update has hidden them off to the side and made it so hard to see how many new email are in each folder. Hate!!! Hate!!! HATE IT!!!! Give me the easy use of folders back or I'm switching off of Yahoo Mail which I've used for at least 30 years.

Hidden email & ugly icon
When I turned on the computer, several messages stating "It's your turn" on BGA popped up in the right hand corner of my screen. When I went to my inbox, I saw no emails from BGA. When I searched for "Board game arena," I saw four recent emails from them. That screen indicated that those messages were in my inbox. no select all box
regarding the new mail foermat......
There is no easily identifiable select all box. We receive 100 spams for every valid email. I use select all and then uncheck the few valid emails that I need to read. It is a HUGE task to ask us to select every mail individually to delete from the innbox. PLEASE put that function back! .

Place the "..." menu above the "Folders". I have an extensive "Folder" list that I like to keep open; and when it is open, the "..." gets pushed below my screen. My main need for the "..." is for "Unread" items.

Show all my folders in left column, as before (I would happily search for my idea if you had somewhere to search)
In the old mail I could see all my folders at once in the left column, and see my inbox contents. Now if I open the folder section, they cover the message list. I can only see one folder at a time. How can I use your "improvement" (see below) much less use my folders as I have them arranged?

how to block spam emails on a desktop iMac computer for an older person
I am very hurt by your company and not being able to get help. I am 83 years old and do not know a lot about computers but I am getting a real lot of spam emails. I have a desktop iMac and want to block the spam emails.
I have AT&T and you are the emails. Why can't I get help. I want to block the bad emails. Why can't I tale to a real person to get help. YOU do not act like you care at all. I am totally alone and thought you were a good company… -
email navigation
The Yahoo email interface has become significantly more complex on the desktop version. I feel quite lost due to the recent design changes. We need to simplify the viewing, reading, and replying process while also grouping emails in a more user-friendly manner. If there are any tutorials available for new users, please share them so that I can better understand how to use the email more effectively.

Make all the email folders visible again
Instead of hiding the additional folders under a "Folders" menu item make them visible so that emails can be dragged and dropped to folders again. You could make the list of folders collapsible so the user can choose to see or not see them all at once.
