WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  3. Spam Filter

    The spam filter is terrible. I get dozens of e-mails each day that make it to my inbox. I have email accounts on other services that are much more effective in screening incoming messages

  4. spam

    For about a week I have been getting approximately 50-100 spam e-mails a day!!! I have blocked almost all of them, yet they still come 4-5 at a time sometimes! I was told that I had to pay $$$ to get someone to help me by phone! WTH is going with Yahoo mail lately!!!??? As soon as I can, I will be transferring my account to G-Mail. Thanks for nothing!

  5. junk ads

    How about not making it difficult to delete all the gobs of worthless spam! And you keep changing how to use the app to make it more difficult to use. Yahoo has really gone the way of worthless trash. You should be ashamed.

  6. Cannot opt out of ads constantly running on the right side of screen

    Cannot opt out of ads constantly running on the right side of screen & cannot open up the inbox to read emails outside the outer boundary of inbox & need to add a scroll bar at bottom of screen to see the larger emails.

  7. Remove annoying ads!!!

    The ads I'm seeing are so repetitive and ANNOYING!!! Two guys that look like they are holding a joint to their lips? Are you guys crazy? I'm seriously thinking of quitting Yahoo mail just for this reason alone. Whoever thought that ad was appropriate should be fired. PLEASE, filter your ads to be respectful, appropriate, decent and on point. The other ad that keeps coming up is a dating site? I'm married. What's the use. And they keep coming up and there is no way to dismiss them. LAME.

  13. Please HIDE THE ADS!

    Hi,
    I am a very loyal and very long date Yahoo user.
    Could you please, give us the choice (without having to pay) whether to see the ADS or NOT.
    It is frustrating that the 50 % of the new yahoo page display is ADS.

  14. Too many ads embedded in my email inbox

    Hi Yahoo,
    please take away the ads embedded in my inbox, some of them are obvious spam, even ****. My 20 years Amazon account was breached one week ago, it was applied by this yahoo account. Please improve your security.

  15. Block unwanted and sexual related email.

    For Yahoo to determine what mail we can and cannot block is sad. I always held Yahoo as NUMBER ONE! What happened?

  17. Ads in line with emails

    Please stop putting advertisements in line that look like emails. Your light 'AD' warning at the beginning of the line is not always enough to clearly mark something as an advertisement, and it becomes easy to accidentally click on an ad, disrupting my business of checking email.

  18. fake ads

    You appear to be running a fake McAfee ad on the mail.yahoo.com user page. The ad appears over the top of the real email entries (btw placing ads in this position to make them look like emails seems really hokey to me and prone to this kind of abuse).

    The ad tries to make it look like an email message from McAfee.com, with a message in place of a subject line reading, "Your card payment failed, please update your payment method." It's doubtful whether a legitimate company would EVER run an ad containing such a message; it looks like a…
