  1. Advertisement issues - Virus

    advertisements that can result in a virus like encounter should not be allowed on yahoo mail. the ad prompted me to a page which resulted in a screen and audio claiming my computer was corrupted and i should not shut or close the computer and asked me to call Microsoft at the telephone number on the screen. because i was afraid to do that i had to shut the computer down manually and reboot.

    Thanks for letting us know! Can you please send us a screenshot of these ads? These should not be on our platforms and we'd love to get a screenshot so we can share with the right team. Please send to oasis.mail.feedback@yahooinc.com. Thanks!

  2. Ads: Fake Checkboxes - Looks Like an Email

    Ads in my inbox should not be permitted to look like a checkbox to get clicks.

    I had an ad with a box that appeared to be a checkbox, I clicked and it took me to what appeared to be a malicious link. I think it is likely something as a scare tactic to sell some form of PC protection service.

  5. Dating apps to be removed from my feed

    Hello, please could you advertise something else to me on my Yahoo? I do not want to see any dating apps or nonsense like this on my feed. It is growing increasingly annoying.

  7. Ad at topf inbox email sending me to threat sites

    I clicked the Ad at the top of Inbox as it had this: "a profile view linked to your account" etc. It then took me to a Yahoo Terms screen about collecting and sharing data, which i Accepted. Then it took me to a site identified as a Threat by NORTON SECURITY.

    NORTON stopped thios as a THREAT: https://best393.traveltipsmedia.com/landers/yahoo_main_mp_test/index.php?bcid=d87ipao1p96s73at4qv0&lpkey={lpkey}

  8. Ads steal cursor away from what I was doing

    I am using Windows 10, 148.0.7778.168 (Official Build) (64-bit). As of 5/13/2026, anytime the right side ad banner rotates to a new ad, it takes my cursor from any other part of the window it was in. This is especially frustrating when I am writing, and every 40-70 seconds, my cursor is moved to the right side, and my up/down arrow keys show it was hijacked by the refreshed ad. My browser has no extensions or ad blockers. I sometimes use other browsers that do have ad blockers, but it seems functionality is an ongoing problem for me in Yahoo…
