WHAT'S NEW:
Calendar - We moved it from under "More" on the right hand side to it's own icon. Still on the right hand side, but it's now the first icon next to Starred and Contacts.

TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  1. Advertisement issues - Virus

    advertisements that can result in a virus like encounter should not be allowed on yahoo mail. the ad prompted me to a page which resulted in a screen and audio claiming my computer was corrupted and i should not shut or close the computer and asked me to call Microsoft at the telephone number on the screen. because i was afraid to do that i had to shut the computer down manually and reboot.

    Hello Team,

    Is it true that you can't get (buy) a Yahoo Mail Plus subscription on an annual basis? I'm referring to the subscription that removes ads from your email.

  3. stop taking so much memory with the ads in email browser cient

    I had to install an ad blocker to keep the rotating ads from consuming so much memory on my Chromebook..when using Yahoo mail what should be sad for you is I actually liked the ads .. after installing the ad blocker it went from using 1.3 gb to 350 mb... in essence its rediculous .. it did not use to be a problem and now it is

  5. Allow me to see the whole email message

    Ads have been expanded to compact my view of the email text. Seems clearly an attempt to get me to subscribe to ad-free email. My idea? Let me see the whole text of my chosen email.

  6. STOP MAKING ADS LOOK LIKE EMAILS!

    It is bad enough you have inserted/comingled advertisements into my inbox. But worse, you purposefully make the ads look like regular emails. DISGUSTING! I'm going to write the FCC. Unethical and pathetic!

  7. YODEL ADVERTS - STOP SENDING THEM

    MANY TIMES I HAVE ASKED YOU TO STOP SENDING 'YODEL' ADVERTS. I AM NOT OR WILL EVER BE INTERESTED IN THIS STUFF. ANYTHING ELSE I AM HAPPY WITH. SO...... NO MORE YODEL !

  8. Make the ad area on the right hand side of the emails smaller. I cannot view the entire content of my emails before the ad area is too big

    I do not like the new look as part of my emails are cut off and the ad area is too large. I am unable to move the ad section over to expand my emails to be able to see the whole content of my emails. I like the old look better as it was easier to navigate.

  10. Delete automaticaly the "*****" "*****" spam mails

    It seems to be increasing but I really hate it. Isn't there a method to prevent the spams for *? Every day I have to see these terms and it is just getting to be too much. what is the big deal blocking these terms - you can do it on your comments pages. why not on my spam? If these posts have such terms, can't they just automatically be blocked. I am really tired of over twenty years having to see "" and "**" every single day . . . every single day. . . every…

  11. make ads less intensive

    The ads are so processor-intensive that it makes loading emails and navigating folders unbearably slow. Yahoo mail in a browser is basically unusable for me. Running on newer mac latest OS

  13. Advertisement problem

    Some of us cannot afford to go ad-free. Placing an "Ad" just above inbox messages creates problems when an errant click on the ad is made. I did that recently, and the ad was a hack telling me my computer had been taken over. Fortunately a nearby person with tech wisdom navigated me out of this trap. For the care of those who cannot afford ad-free, can you please reconsider selling ad space on the thin line just above the inbox messages of email. Thanks for fixing this problem.
