TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  1. Advertisement issues - Virus

    advertisements that can result in a virus like encounter should not be allowed on yahoo mail. the ad prompted me to a page which resulted in a screen and audio claiming my computer was corrupted and i should not shut or close the computer and asked me to call Microsoft at the telephone number on the screen. because i was afraid to do that i had to shut the computer down manually and reboot.

  3. Stop displaying unwanted Ad content

    Yahoo Mail is displaying inappropriate adult dating ads. There seems to be no way to opt out, or disable these ads change preferences, or opt out of unwanted content:

    Simple Online Dating
    Meet Women Online

    If I continue to see these types of ads in my Yahoo Mail box, I will report Yahoo Mail to the California Attorney General's Office, FTC, BBC and any other agency,

  6. The Ads take up nearly 1/3 of the screen, Make it less wide

    Narrow width of Ads, so that more of the message can be seen.

  7. Stop any ads regarding sex in any way

    Please stop sending me ads with sexual content in any way. No dating ads, no viagra ads, no sex ads.

  9. Taboola is Giving my Grandma Scam Ads in Her Mailbox

    I have also reported this problem to Taboola, but there have been multiple times now where the ad at the top of her inbox has taken her to a fraudulent/scam website. This is unacceptable. Yahoo, you must know who your advertisers are. They create ad messages that look like Yahoo message update notifications and when you click on them they take you to an API website before sending you to another site that locks up your screen and demands your personal data. I'm not complaining about the fact that there are ads in my grandma's email, I'm complaining that those…

  10. give a way to report ads!

    Some ads pretend to be emails to read!

    ...and then open up a bunch of spam tabs while taking over the computer!

    It is crazy to not allow people to report specific ads as breaking the rules, etc.

  11. Allow users the option to use the annoying new features.

    Who decided that these stupid popups were a good idea? I'm using email and I get an award popup for using the email. that's idiotic. I get another popup to tell me turn on notifications for messages from a certain sender. Equally stupid. Give me options to turn this junk off.

    The new yahoo mail is much slower than the previous version. I guess its because the annoying, distracting, unnecessary eye candy takes resources.

    I've been using yahoo mail for decades. I don't want to quit it, but I will if I cant mange and reduce the unnecessary junk that…

  15. Please Stop Continuos Spam inflow

    I have been inundated with continous spam with obviously fraudulant adresses for 18 months. I have tried every remedy that you recommended. You have forced me to consider going to another email provider...... how can you miss this glaring failure? It is now missing spam or trash and going right back into 'Inbox' now. How can you stay in business like this?

  16. eliminate offer pop-ups

    I pay for mail+ so as to have have ads and pop-ups -- it is very frustrating to have an offer pop-up at the top of my messages every time I go to inbox. I personally do not believe there should be an offers category of emails, yet even so, pop-ups are frustrating and time consuming. Please advise when you will delete these distracting pop-ups (and certainly let me know if you are keeping pop-ups, so I can discontinue and get different email service)

    Is it true that you can't get (buy) a Yahoo Mail Plus subscription on an annual basis? I'm referring to the subscription that removes ads from your email.
