Cut the ADS
Why should we have to click on ads (for example looking for women to date) just to get rid of the filth????
I am a woman and I am NOT SHOPPING FOR ONE.
Choosing 'No Ads' In Preferences means NOTHING...

Stop and disable spam, scam, phishing messages with obvious subject lines
You must stop the spam and phishing emails from coming through. Once I block an ad for something you must prevent it from coming through. My mother and I have very different use of our yahoo email accounts yet we both get tens of spam emails a day, even after changing passwords. These have obvious spam/scam subject lines like Cheech and Chong Kozmic Chews, ...OzempicDelivers, Peeing at Night, Titan Male Enhance... YOU HAVE GOT TO STOP LETTING SPAM THROUGH. No other email service makes money off spam like Yahoo does.

Blocking spam
I use to be able to filter all the spam by a simple word or two and send it to the Spam folder. I dont see the "filter" selection anymore. Where is it? I can only "block" which is not very useful to battle all the spam.

Commercial ads with sound and music
Please eliminate the commercials that appear on the right column AND THAT GENERATE SOUND. It is very annoying to be working and all of a sudden have to listen to a commercial coming from an email platform.

Yahoo Mail
The sheer amount of pop-ups is ABSOLUTELY INFURIATING! I have stuff to do and when I'm about to click on something and a pop-up comes up and I inadvertently click on that, that is excruciatingly maddening. Please, PLEASE Stop all the pop-ups, the stupid Ai generated summarizing Garbage, and just clean things up overall! Especially in the Android app, the summarizing stuff is SO annoying as it takes up space and I have to read the message anyhow. Please just make a clean, no-fuss, simple E-mail and STOP with all the click-bait ********!!! Please.

Give us back our storage with ads
To Yahoo Mail Product Team,
I am writing as a long-time user to express my disappointment regarding the recent reduction of free Yahoo Mail storage from 1TB to just 20GB. Many users, including myself, chose Yahoo Mail specifically because its 1TB offer far exceeded what other providers like Gmail and Outlook provided and positioned Yahoo as a uniquely user-friendly leader in the market.
The drastic reduction—a 98% cut—directly affects users who relied on Yahoo for archiving and managing years of important emails, attachments, and memories. While it is true that not every user fills a terabyte, a 20GB limit is…

Better spam filtering, yahoo is the worst of the worst when it comes to allowing spam .

block specific ad
Provide a way to block specific ads or types of ads in yahoo mail. For example, I am routinely receiving ads from the same dating websites, or cancer treatments and this is not something I need or want to see in my inbox. Pls give yahoo mail users a way to opt out, if I they are not interested.

intrusive ads that do not offer a way to be deleted. There should be.
What's with the ads that offer no way to delete them? Maybe I never noticed them before, but over the past week/ten days I've been barraged with them. I don't like it. If there isn't a way to correct this, there should be. If there is a way and I just don't know it, please direct me to it. I am looking around for an email service that doesn't allow ads to highjack it's customers (if one even exists). Thank you. Jim Phelan
