TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  1. Setting Yahoo as default in browser results in an error message

    Setting Yahoo as default in browser results in an error message.
    I tested both Microsoft Edge and FireFox browsers. When I setup Yahoo Mail as the default "mail to", clicking on a "mail to" link on a web browser results in error message "Your mail is temporarily unavailable.".

    If I switch back to the Old Yahoo Mail, "mail to" links work without issue.

    My workaround is to go back to Old Yahoo Mail until the ability to use New Yahoo Mail in a browser as a default "mail to" without error is resolved.

  2. I want to use Bold and Italics again

    I'm having issues with the composing of email. I like to use Bold and Italics options at times. Up until three weeks ago, I was able to use these functions. Not anymore. Can you help me?

  3. Scheduled message not in Sent folder

    I sent a message using the "schedule" feature. Before it was sent, it was in the "Scheduled" folder. However, after it was sent, I can't find it anywhere. I know it was sent, because the recipient responded. I would expect my original message to be in the Sent folder.

  4. Starred Items

    The other guy has a useful feature that Yahoo never had, multiple star colors to differentiate how they are saved, I use it all the time when reviewing read emails.

  5. Make it easier to read what you type

    Put the size of the typing letters much bigger. I can hardly read them now.

  6. Customer Service I DON'T have to pay for!

    Has anyone found YAHOO customer support that you DON'T have to pay for? I've tried getting help on issues with the new YAHOO and I get send to sign up and pay for the new YAHOO + subscription.

    Why is my inbox full of spam all of a sudden. It's so bad I might have to delete my account and stick with Gmail.

  8. subject field cant be editted

    Using google chrome on windows 11 and yahoo mail in that browser. When I compose a new email; if i start to type in the message body field, I am then unable to edit the subject line. I've had this issue through several iterations of google chrome on windows 11.

    No issues in yahoo email in my yahoo app on iOS.
    No issues in old yahoo email. this is only an issue in the new. clearly a bug. sadly yahoo support requires payment to submit bugs
