WHAT'S NEW?
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Reply/Forward Icons - You can see the arrow icons when you've replied or forwarded to a message.
Up/Down Arrow, Scrolls Now - In full message view, not preview pane.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the email to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox. 
Search Results Will Show Folder - Now when you do a search, where the emails are located will show up.

Total Number of Emails - See total number and not just unread messages.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders. 
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Drag and drop messages to folders - Just click and hold on an email message, then drag and drop that message into a different folder. 
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.

  1. Link Preview in Emails

    In new Yahoo Mail, "Automatically generate a preview of links" is not working. It should be fixed or just allow users to go back to old Yahoo Mail. Thank you.

  3. backspace deletes emails that are being replied to

    When I try to reply to an email and I hit the back space, at all, it deletes the entire email. I just hit the back space on a very important thread of emails and it permanently deleted the entire string of emails I have been trying to work out a return for an expensive product for. When an email is in my inbox, it will automatically send it to the trash folder and exit the email if I press the back space and it does this without warning. the reply function/forward seems very buggy and there was also an…

  4. My drafts keep disappearing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Twice now I composed a long email and TWICE the email was in the draft folder and when I went to access it it disappeared!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What is going on

  5. Fix text paste issue

    Please fix the bug when paste anything, it ignores my cursor position and always paste on top. I use Google Chrome on Windows 11.

  6. drafts appearing in inbox

    1. compose a message.
    2. X out of it. RESULT: after a few moments, the message appears in your Inbox. It does not appear in your drafts. EXPECT: It should appear in drafts and not in Inbox.

    Sometimes multiple intermediate drafts appear in your inbox.

  7. Cannot Accept Teams Invite

    There is nowhere i can accept an invite for a Teams meeting when party send an invite. please fix this. Not only can I not accept the invite, I cannot even see the time the invite was sent for. How embarrassing. Yahoo is not keeping up with the times, and it may be time to switch to a new email service.

  9. Need to know why draft emails disappear and how to get them back or how to protect them.

    It's happened again. I was writing a detailed email, full of references and links, and I touched something on the keyboard and it disappeared. Completely. It's not in my drafts, not sent, not anywhere else.

    Do you have any idea what I touched that deleted it? Do you have suggestions for protecting emails that are in detailed progress?

    I see in the help section that draft emails can't be recovered. Is there another place I can save them while they are in progress? The only way I can see to do it is to periodically send the email to myself…

  10. Scheduled message not in Sent folder

    I sent a message using the "schedule" feature. Before it was sent, it was in the "Scheduled" folder. However, after it was sent, I can't find it anywhere. I know it was sent, because the recipient responded. I would expect my original message to be in the Sent folder.

  11. refresh glitch

    I'm using latest Google Chrome. During checking emails and deleting, Yahoo Mail keeps refreshing and putting me back to the top when I was scrolling down a couple of hundred emails. I have to scroll down to find my spot, but then refreshes again and I can never get lower than a 100 emails or so. Also, while writing from a saved draft, Yahoo Mail refreshes and puts me out or opens a new draft, or scrolls down to the bottom of the message. Then finally, the draft disappeared and is nowhere to be found!!! Please bring the old Yahoo…

  12. edit subject in draft

    When composing an email, if I click in the text field without first typing in the Subject field, I am unable to go back and edit the Subject Field. The only workaround that I've found is to make a change in the To field first, then it lets you edit Subject. This is annoying.

  13. subject field cant be editted

    Using google chrome on windows 11 and yahoo mail in that browser. When I compose a new email; if i start to type in the message body field, I am then unable to edit the subject line. I've had this issue through several iterations of google chrome on windows 11.

    No issues in yahoo email in my yahoo app on iOS.
    No issues in old yahoo email. this is only an issue in the new. clearly a bug. sadly yahoo support requires payment to submit bugs
