WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

    In new Yahoo Mail, "Automatically generate a preview of links" is not working. It should be fixed or just allow users to go back to old Yahoo Mail. Thank you.

  3. Fixing Issues with Fonts

    I would like the Font that I selected in my Yahoo Mail settings to function when I write an email. I chose Classic- Medium. When I write an email, the font automatically reverts to Classic, Tiny. I have to consistently change the font while writing the email to Classic Medium. Can you fix this ongoing issue?

  4. allowing email banner image to email signature

    you allowed in the past and now feature is gone. allowing email banner image to email signature. I'm an individual with small company that does not have a company email with professional signature. I have to use my own and sadly, now my email looks sad and mom and pop

  5. Web - mail subject is empty unless focus is changed before sending

    Repro:
    1. Click "New message"
    2. Fill in any recipient in the "To" box
    3. Enter some subject like "Test"
    4. Immediately click "Send"
    Result: the email subject will be blank

    The bug is that the subject is only populated in the outgoing message if between steps (3) and (4) above you change the active element focus - e.g. after typing in the subject, you press TAB or click the email body text box and only then click "Send"

    Why when I attach a Word docx in normal typeface - it always transmits in ITALICS ?!?!?!?!?

  10. backspace deletes emails that are being replied to

    When I try to reply to an email and I hit the back space, at all, it deletes the entire email. I just hit the back space on a very important thread of emails and it permanently deleted the entire string of emails I have been trying to work out a return for an expensive product for.   11. Make email addresses visible when hovering over the name in the "TO" section

    The New Mail does not allow me to see the actual email addresses of people I'm writing to. Annoying, since some people have several and if I want to see an email address now I have to go to contacts.

  13. Fix the "recent emoticon" option.

    When I want to select an emoticon, the recent ones are not available. I have to type into the search to find the icons that I usually use. Why is the clock indicating "recent" not working?
    I did an experiment. I searched for two icons and saw the "recents" until I closed the icon selection box. When I opened it a second later, the recents were forgotten.

  14. Sending Videos

    When I send a video of mine from Vimeo- I always got a Thumbprint ID so I knew the video I was sending was correct. With the NEW email I don't get that Thumbprint confirmation. I always wonder if the correct video I'm sending IS correct? You might want to re-add that feature on the NEW email. Other than that aspect it's ok.

  15. DARK MODE WHILE COMPOSING IS HORRIBLE!

    I wanted to share some feedback regarding an issue I’ve encountered while using Yahoo Mail in dark mode.

    When I compose an email with dark mode enabled, the editor displays white text on a dark background, which looks fine while drafting. However, I recently noticed that when the email is sent, the text remains white. As a result, recipients with the default white background cannot see the text unless they highlight it.
