TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  1. Reinstate ability to edit font

    Reinstate the ability to edit font size to make it uniform, especially when you're copying text from a document to add to your e-mail. The inability to make the text uniform is going to make me go back to the old Yahoo.

  2. Open emails on top of inbox

    Please bring back the option to toggle between open emails at the top of the inbox. There are many times that I have to toggle between an open email to refer back and/or I have to leave one task to complete another. Having to go to the drafts folder is cumbersome.

  4. composing impossible, text formatting at opposite end of long email thread

    Because the reply function now scrolls my active reply out of view by placing the active cursor at the top of page view, I now have to compose my emails in a text editor. A new problem arises when I take my reply generated in a text editor, copy and paste and the text is too small and all wrong in the yahoo email format.
    The new yahoo email does not provide a way to collapse a long email thread, requiring the reply box is at the top of the long thread, and all the text formatting options are removed…

  5. Remove Autofill Email Addresses When Composing

    Hello!
    Someone else suggested this idea in Jan. 2025. It was marked "reviewed" by Yahoo with no comments now allowed and no indication that Yahoo is going to take action on the suggestion. Here is it again.

    When trying to enter an email address when composing, Yahoo begins to autofill suggested addresses. It previously showed an "x" by each suggestion, which allowed me to eliminate it from showing up again.

    Yahoo has removed that "x". What makes it worse, is that addresses from spam are also suggested, and with all the spam that comes through, that means a LOT of…

  6. Where's the email address autofill when composing?

    When I start typing an email, the address I wanted used to auto-fill. Now an autofill box appears, but it's blank! This is incredibly annoying. So I now have to go manually find the address I want and ... type it in.

    What a step backward this "upgrade" is.

  7. Increase the allowed amount of blocked email addresses

    Increase amount of blocked email addresses for incoming spam. With the amount of spam that is sent each day, the 1023 limit is too small. Please increase so that users can block ALL spam.
