WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  2. Infinite Scroll to Next Email

    Absolutely HATE the new feature that concerns scrolling inside of an email and automatically loads the next email. Dozens of times already have read an email, then go to hit the delete key only to realize the next unread email has been loaded and is now in the trash can.

  3. From field not available on Reply/Forward

    ISSUES:

    1. REPLY does not allow you to change the FROM email (it is not even visible). This is a problem if you have multiple emails.

    2. The FORWARD has the same issue as above.

    Both of these are an option on the old version of Yahoo. This is forcing me to copy and paste the entire email and create a new one.

    not liking the new email format. I don't feel it's user friendly. I've been trying to email files to my CPA and it keeps saying not the correct format. However if I send the files from my husband's email and NO Problem. I want the old format back, a lot more user friendly. Not Impressed!!!

  5. Delete all offers

    I would like to delete all "Offers". The UI is really weird for this. If you select "All", then you are no longer targeting offers. With the new UI, you have to select at least one message on the "Offers" tab, then you can select "All" messages, but it's limited to just the 100 messages in your current list. I would like to nuke them all, from all time, similar to how Delete all Spam was on the old UI.

    What's even more troubling is that I can select the Offer messages and delete them 100 at a time, but…

  6. Current Open Email Indicator Bar

    When i am reading my emails with my inbox or folder on the left and the email on the right of the screen, the only indicator on the left in the list of emails of which one I am currently reading is a small, slim purple bar on the right of the email subject and first line card. This little purple bar gets partially covered by the scroll up and down bar when not hovering over it and is completely covered by it if you start using the scroll bar. My preference would be that you make the purple bar…

  7. Don't advertise virus infected ads

    My Yahoo mail is showing an Ad indicating it is coming from McAfee.com that says "Payment has failed". It is an obvious scam intending to infect my computer. Use AI to come up with better software to prevent obvious scams from coming into a users InBox.

  8. Sort by Sender does not stay intact; list pops

    When sorting by sender, the sort does not remain after taking any action, ie opening an email, moving to a folder, deleting, etc. It always goes back to sorting by Newest. I have to resort by sender every time i do anything. This is extremely frustrating and time consuming.

    In addition, once I do resort, the email list pops back to the top and i have to scroll down to the place i was. Every. single. time. I've gotten to the point i just drag to the bottom and hold it while the unending amount of ads on the right…

  9. Automatically show editable "Subject" lines when replying/forwarding an email

    When replying/forwarding an email I can't edit the subject line or CC/BCC lines without having to click a little arrow next to the "to" line and selecting "edit subject" or "edit BCC and CC".

    It's confusing when the subject line is already large and bold at the top of the email, but I can't click on it to edit. Instead I have to go hunting around for how to edit it.

  11. Maybe you can give us actual humans who can help when we have a problem

    I have nowhere else to put this, and I'd appreciate it if someone got back to me. I'm unable to load word docs onto emails and send them, as an error message comes up instead (and I'm a freelancer that needs to in order to send out billing). Nothing on the Yahoo help page has any useful suggestions. (I've already cleaned my caches for both my browser and my device, rebooted multiple times, updated browsers, changed browsers, changed devices, etc). What I need is a person to help me. Please advise.

  12. Leave out the message summary

    Can you leave out the message summary? It's confusing. I looked at it and thought this was a weird email from from my family member. Then after looking lower, I noticed their actual email. This would be great if I got 500 word emails. But for 40-50 words, summaries are not necessary. Is there a way to avoid getting the summary on our emails?

  13. There is so much wrong with this, I don't know where to start!!!

    1. it seems the reason for your change was to use 1/3 of my screen for that ad on the right side!
    2. When I set up my choices way back when, they worked for me, and still would if you would let me be.
    3. You didn't give me an option...you hi-jacked my account and forced me into this new email garbage.
    4. The color choices and changed layout makes it very hard to read and file my emails.
    5. I used to be in one of my 4 email accounts, and could easily change to the others with a click of the mouse.…

  14. BUG: Issue with Attachment Viewer

    When pre-viewing an attachment on an email with multiple attachments, ability to select a file from the dropdown is great; allows the user to quickly select a particular file.

    However, when I wanted to go back to the email, for each of those selected files, I need to click the "X" on the top right. If I viewed 3 files, using the dropdown to switch between them, I have to click "X" on top right 3 times.

    The UX should be that a single click on "X" closes the attachment previews and goes back to the email.

  15. Storage Feedback

    very upset because I stayed with Yahoo and moved all my history here because yahoo mail offered 1Tb storage. Now I can't even pay to receive what was promised. Pay for 200GB when I had 1Tb for free? Why Yahoo? You should not take away from existing accounts but rather just limit new accounts. Yahoo apparently wants to have a reputation for lying, false promises, and taking away services from long time loyal users.

  16. Type of Ads in my email

    Please stop putting these dating sites within my email. They show up several times while reading my email and there is no place for me to unsubscribe or block them out. Stop forcing these sites on me. They are disgusting and I did not sign up for this. I do understand I will get ads. However, your ads are out of control when you keep posting them inside my emails.

  17. Need help receiving from a specific domain

    Hello. At some point I stopped receiving emails from a specific website/community/domain. feabie.com I have added their email address info@feabie.com and filtered their domain to attempt to White List so I can receive their emails. I had to do a password reset on their site but could not receive emails to fix the logon issue. It was eventually fixed through their support but I still can not receive emails from them. Can you please look into this and fix it? I believe Yahoo Mail is filtering it out before it comes to my inbox. Thanks!

  19. Remove intrusive search preview

    When key word searching in mail and hit enter, sometimes/usually there is LARGE boxes that link to specific emails that are I assume the most recent of the most relevant to your search that show up at the top of the mailbox. Please remove that feature or allow a clear way to dismiss this suggestion. If the suggestion is not what you're looking for, and you don't have the window full screened, the suggestions will take up most of the mailbox blocking the view and impeding of the act of searching for what you're looking for.

  20. Lag between receiving emails

    I have noticed a lag between receiving emails from NHS.net addresses, sometimes lasting up to 48 hrs. I have personally missed a lot of vital information due to this.
