BLUE DOT - Unread
I have been depending on that blue dot next to an email to see my new mail. It's gone. Get it back.

Infinite Scroll to Next Email
Absolutely HATE the new feature that concerns scrolling inside of an email and automatically loads the next email. Dozens of times already have read an email, then go to hit the delete key only to realize the next unread email has been loaded and is now in the trash can.

From field not available on Reply/Forward
ISSUES:
REPLY does not allow you to change the FROM email (it is not even visible). This is a problem if you have multiple emails.
The FORWARD has the same issue as above.
Both of these are an option on the old version of Yahoo. This is forcing me to copy and paste the entire email and create a new one.

not liking the new email format. I don't feel it's user friendly. I've been trying to email files to my CPA and it keeps saying not the correct format. However if I send the files from my husband's email and NO Problem. I want the old format back, a lot more user friendly. Not Impressed!!!

Delete all offers
I would like to delete all "Offers". The UI is really weird for this. If you select "All", then you are no longer targeting offers. With the new UI, you have to select at least one message on the "Offers" tab, then you can select "All" messages, but it's limited to just the 100 messages in your current list. I would like to nuke them all, from all time, similar to how Delete all Spam was on the old UI.
What's even more troubling is that I can select the Offer messages and delete them 100 at a time, but…

Let us opt out of planner
On the PLANNER- For God's sake at least let us be able to take stuff OFF of the planner. Your AI is getting all the stuff wrong. It's a headache and very stressful.

Bug: Disabling AI Message Summaries toggle does not work (stuck on generic previews)
I turned off the "Message summaries" toggle in Settings, but my inbox won't revert to normal. It is stuck showing generic AI text like "Linkedin has sent you job alerts for..." instead of the actual company and role details.
I have already tried:
1, Turning the toggle on and off again.
Hard-refreshing the browser (Ctrl+F5).
Logging completely out and logging back in.
The UI says it is turned off, but the inbox is completely failing to update. Please fix this caching issue!

Current Open Email Indicator Bar
When i am reading my emails with my inbox or folder on the left and the email on the right of the screen, the only indicator on the left in the list of emails of which one I am currently reading is a small, slim purple bar on the right of the email subject and first line card. This little purple bar gets partially covered by the scroll up and down bar when not hovering over it and is completely covered by it if you start using the scroll bar. Don't advertise virus infected ads
My Yahoo mail is showing an Ad indicating it is coming from McAfee.com that says "Payment has failed". It is an obvious scam intending to infect my computer. Use AI to come up with better software to prevent obvious scams from coming into a users InBox.

Sort by Sender does not stay intact; list pops
When sorting by sender, the sort does not remain after taking any action, ie opening an email, moving to a folder, deleting, etc. It always goes back to sorting by Newest. I have to resort by sender every time i do anything. This is extremely frustrating and time consuming.
In addition, once I do resort, the email list pops back to the top and i have to scroll down to the place i was. Every. single. time. I've gotten to the point i just drag to the bottom and hold it while the unending amount of ads on the right… -

Let me actually receive the email being sent to me!!
I have stopped receiving emails from numerous entities (I'm sure I'm not aware of all of them) including: LinkedIn, Login.gov, etc. This is a serious issue!! and you give us consumers no avenue to contact you!!!

Change email address
Gmail now allows users to change their email address while retaining the same account, with the old address becoming an alternate email address. I hope Yahoo Mail can offer a similar feature in the future.
Please consider account users around the world who may need to change their email address. Having to create a new email account and migrate all linked apps, subscriptions, and accounts to a new email address can be quite a hassle and inconvenience.

Concerning the new rules imposed regarding the space allocated for each user (the max. 15 Gb / user rule) my idea for you is to post an instrument right in the main page of each customer's e-mail (like... in a corner of the page or in the upper part of the yahoo mail page) so that the user can monitor how much Gb he has used out of the 15 Gb limit. Update after direct authenticated IMAP testing (2026-08-11): the mailbox exists and STATUS reports 0 messages. DELETE "Cestino/pippo" returns BAD [CANNOT] DELETE failed - Mailbox is reserved. Renaming it to a temporary root mailbox succeeds, but DELETE on the renamed mailbox returns the same reserved-mailbox error; the original name was restored. UNSUBSCRIBE returns OK, but an immediate LSUB still reports the mailbox as subscribed.
