WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  1. Appearance

    This new MaIl is UGLY, BULKY and horrible. And that's being nice about it. I want the classic version back. Stop FORCING this on US! No customization, no background images, It's either Black or White...neither is appealing. It wastes Screen space and is hard to sort through, separate the mails you want to find. AT least let us have background images back and use more of the screen space to expand the mailbox.

  2. Did not see my idea posted anywhere within this post.

    Some do not care for the new format. I, for one hate it. At least give us the option of going back to the old format. May I please have my old yahoo mail back?

  3. Color thems for inbox?

    Why do we no longer have the ability to change inbox colors as with classic mail? The entire idea behind it was for users who have multiple accounts so that they could quickly differentiate between them. also why is the settings icon buried in folders rather than at the top of the page. Further, why is there no customer support for non paid email accts. Yahoo, you are close to being replaced once and for all.

  4. Custimizing my email

    I really hate that there is no customizing of my email. Am I missing it? Is there a way to set a theme or any type of customization?

  5. Go back to previous version of email client

    PLEASE GIVE US THE GO BACK TO OLDER VERSION CHOICE. WE ARE GOING TO STOP USING THIS CLIENT BUT IT IS A HASSLE TO MOVE OVER TO GMAIL. YOU ARE FORCING THIS ON US - AND THEREFORE FORCING US TO LEAVE! EVERYONE LEAVES THE FEEDBACK AND YOU ARE IGNORING IT - CLOSING AND SAYING IT IS RESOLVED. IT IS NOT RESOLVED UNTIL WE LEAVE, I GUESS.
