WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

    One idea to improve the system and service, would be for Yahoo to NOT delete 3 years of my emails and then make it only possible for me to retrieve the last 7 days. Thanks Yahoo!!!

    If your account has had no activity for 365 days, then the account is deactivated. We communicate this a few times which includes sending you an email to your alternative email account, so make sure that is updated. If you need help reinstating, contact our CC team at help.yahoo.com. They have the tools to help with these issues. Hope this helps!

  2. Bulk delete not working

    The bulk delete DOESN'T WORK! It's sooooooooooooo annoying!!!!!!! This has been going on for the past several weeks now!!!

  3. Spam block

    It seems that the 'block sender' option has been removed from the spam emails that have been received by users. Is this in a different spot or is this feature removed? Decluttering an email inbox is important to only getting relevant mail.

  6. Issue when deleting email drafts

    I've noticed since last year that when a draft is deleted and that draft is part of a chain of email exchanges, everything related to that chain of emails is also deleted, from Inbox, from Sent, etc. The only option is to send a recovery request, but that doesn't work every time. It would be very important not to delete and lose everything when deleting a draft. Thank you!

  8. Contact - deleting emails

    When I'm in the contacts and I try to backspace it sometimes deletes all the emails in my in box. I undelete them but this is a problem.

  9. Fix email delete defect

    If you select one of more mail items and select 'delete', the mail is deleted. If you accidentally double click your system will delete the next email even though it is not selected. If I am lucky I notice and can recover it from the trash.

    Only delete selected items!

  10. SPAM filter is TERRIBLE!

    I'm getting bombarded with spam e-mail daily and the subject lines alone shouldn't make it past your filters. I've been marking them all SPAM and it seems to make no difference what so ever. I block the senders but every e-mail comes from another e-mail. I'm ready to switch to another e-mail provider after 30 years of Yahoo

  11. I want to delete all the emails

    Why can't I delete the entire inbox? I don't want to pay for more storage, I just want it all gone. Enable a delete entire inbox feature. Or at least let me delete email in larger chunks than one page at a time. It's tedious to try and delete 20 plus years of email.

    I have been attached by spam - and you all are not doing anything to help. I need an automatic spam blocker set up for me. I am NOT computer savvy and I am elderly. I would think you all would understand an help.

  13. Deleting mass emails

    I have been trying to delete my emails for DAYS!! There needs to be a quick way to get rid of all the posts at once. Yes, I waited too long to do this, but I cannot access my email right now. Having to spend 10 hours a day deleting, and then having to go to the Trash and delete again is a major pain, especially for those of us with limited hand use, due to disease.

  15. Help to be made available to ALL users.

    I have deleted a lot of material from my account but the size does not seem to budge. Kindly explain how this works. I have an overlimit note on my account and its frozen. No way to unfreeze it even tho alot of material has been removed. Why dont you set up a help portal which can help us navigate thru this? Now I do not want to buy more space because I know that I have no support. This business model needs to be revamped.

  18. one-click delete

    The Trash folder has a one-click delete option to empty the entire folder with one click. Why can't I do that with my inbox? If I can delete all the emails in my spam folder and all the emails in my trash folder, I should be able to pull up all the unread emails in my inbox and delete them all in one shot as well.

    There's an "unread" feature.. I'm sure everyone has a ton of emails they don't read because it's probably all garbage that got past the spam filter. Mine build up because I don't check my…

  19. Better options to contact help - Deleting and readding a mailbox has currently taken over 24hrs to be disconnected

    tried to delete and reinstall gmail mailbox. Currently over 24hrs witing for it to disconnect. no help or ways to contact online unless signing up for yahoo plus. chat help option would be nice for simple queries that basically just need a server sync update pushed through

    The best way to get rid of spam is to mark as spam, not delete or block! This helps with your spam filters and does exactly what blocking does, prevents that email from coming to your Inbox. So please keep marking as spam! It is free and part of regular Yahoo Mail. Thanks!
