Unfortunately, you cannot revert back. We are only making the new one better. We know change is frustrating and hard but we really hope you'll give the new layout a fair chance.


WHAT'S NEW:
Calendar - We moved it from under "More" on the right hand side to it's own icon. Still on the right hand side, but it's now the first icon next to Starred and Contacts.

TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  1. Backspace deletes message while using it in the Move to Folder!!!!

    When you use Move search to move the message to some folder, make a typo, then use Backspace key to delete the search entry it immediately deletes to message to Trash folder. Correct this ASAP!!!!

  2. Delete e-mail

    With the new UI I think the pop-up that says "Message Deleted" appears right on top of the Delete button. I typically delete my e-mails in preview mode which I don't see as an option in the new UI which allows me to see the e-mail briefly and then click the Delete button in most cases. Now I have to open the e-mail click Delete, then wait for the pop-up to disappear or manually close it, before I can delete the next e-mail. If you just move that pop-up off to the right of the toolbar then I would be…

  3. Draft emails just delete while you are working on them

    Three times I have been writing an email and suddenly yahoo just says your email has been deleted. It just happened to me 11:47am 6/20/25 AZ time. I am so frustrated. I don't know why this happens and how to stop it.

  4. Hitting backspace will delete the draft! Please fix it!!!

    Hitting the backspace key will completely delete your draft, there is no way to find and restore the email! Please fix it!!!
    I can repeat it! Chrome browser, standard version of Yahoo mail. GO to Drafts. Select a Draft and hit backspace. "Email has been deleted" BUT NOT PUT N TRASH?!?!? I have requested a restore. FIX IT!!!!
