    Karen is being used as a slur and should never be acceptable. I grew up in a generation where people used the term wop, wetback, ******, uncle tom, cracker, etc. Didn't like those either. No one would dream of using those in an article let alone a headline. Let's just skip the part where "well everyone does it" and treat it, the use of the term "karen" with the shame it deserves.
