    "Temporarily suspended Comments" was a cheap way to fool to actually say " Permanently ".
    Stopped comments to please and appease a minority few. They don't matter. Contribute nothing.
    Never understood this : USA - Free Country, Free Speech. Yet, if someone comments about someone's Race, Religion, Color that is regarded as Racist. Then what is FREE speech ? None.
    No deleting of email account or handing ones mobile numbers ( conveniently labelled as 'code' sent for verification ) to Govt authorities to trace individual.
    Mobile phone is the best tracking device to monitor and locate an individual.

    Especially the Young, who know nothing about anything, world carrying them on shoulders.
    5 ) “SAFE PLACE” ? Let people have a war of words online, than a physical war on the streets. NO place is "SAFE" nowadays.

    Yet, it is the same "FREE" Press / Media that "muzzles" its readers and viewers, by neither allowing "free" comments nor “freely” allowing to voice one's views and opinions. Hypocracy.
    Hope the 'new' owners, Yahoo EMEA Ltd, will begin a dawn of a 'new' era. Desired suggestions :
    1 ) FREE SPEECH irrespective of Race, Religion, Caste, Color or Creed.
    Even in the choicest of invectives.
    2 ) Get rid of the "Report Abuse" button
    3 ) Get rid of the "Flag As Inappropriate".
    4 ) No Moderators to EDIT or DELETE comments.
    ( Biased Moderators of Color, Religion, Personal views, etc ).
    5 ) “SAFE PLACE” ? Let people have a war of words online, than a physical war on the streets. NO place is "SAFE" nowadays.

    YAHOO Comments 'were' the BEST in the world. Others have tried, but cant match. NO comparison to Yahoo at all. Yahoo was BEST!

    THAT is FREE SPEECH in its TRUE essence. Be the FIRST to take the LEAD, let others follow.

    Have mentioned the same over and over and over so many many times, but to no avail.
    We spend most of the time hitting the PAUSE button.
    Useless videos chews a lot of precious bandwidth, especially for those on pay-as-you-go internet.
