How to complain about removing message boards? Use a message board.
There was seriously no reason to remove something you have had for 20+ years. If you do the same thing for football you might as well close your fantasy games all together. Or maybe that is the whole reason you are doing this in the first place? Who knows. You will never communicate with us.

Still waiting for an official 'reason' for this move. It obviously makes zero sense. Would love to know the truth and justification for this decision.
Message boards have been around since the beginning of the internet. Why? Because they are an easy, simple, effective and essential way to communicate. How do you want us to officially respond to you deleting message boards? Use a message board. As they say the proof is self evident.

Message boards have been around since the beginning of the internet. Why? Because they are a simple, easy and essential way to communicate.
If there is a reason for this decision it would be nice if Yahoo had the guts to tell us why. It makes zero sense why this fundamental feature would be eliminated.
I think my favourite thing about this is the only way to officially complain about this is by using a Message Board. Ironic.

Make sure to vote "How important is this to you?" I think thats the only way to get this ranked higher than 9th on the importance list. By posts alone (100 a day) this should be the top issue not just top 10.
For those looking for the "chat" on desktop/computers there is a small white and blue chat bubble at the bottom right of every league page. I had no idea either and had to ask Yahoo on twitter where the heck it was.

Another day, another 100 messages all saying the same thing. Most of these 630+ messages are from commishs so each message really represents 10-12 people. We are looking at over 6000 people bothered by this so far and the season is still over a month away. Its only going to grow. Message boards are essential. Where is the only official place to complain about this? On a MESSAGE BOARD. Common sense Yahoo.
For those of you looking for the chat when you are accessing by computer/desktop: On the bottom right of any league page there is a small white and blue chat bubble. Click on that. I had no idea where it was either. I had to ask on Twitter to get the answer:)

Its funny how our only way to complain is a....MESSAGE BOARD. It is basic. It is easy. It is vital. It has been around since the internet began. If there is a 'reason' why you are removing it let us know.

Message boards have been around since the beginning of the internet. Why? Because they are an easy, simple and most importantly vital way to communicate. What are you using for this feedback right now? A message board. Twitter, Reddit etc are all message boards. How you felt getting rid of them is a good idea makes zero sense. Is it a storage space/archive problem? Then delete past years message boards. No one cares about what was posted in 2002 in our league anymore. Having a message board is crucial to being able to play this year though.
Looking through what has been posted here it looks like well over 450 posts so far. Most from people who have been using Yahoo for 10-20 plus years. 450 posts from mostly commisioners which are representing their leagues so that is well over 5000 people. Every single message is saying the exact same thing. This is a horrible, terrible mistake.

Not sure why you would think removing message boards was a good idea. Read what every single person has posted. Ive never seen any issue so universally agreed upon like this anywhere. Listen to your customers before you lose them all.

I have been playing and commishing fantasy football, baseball, hockey and basketball leagues on yahoo for the past 25 years. This is the worst decision/change you have ever made. Message boards are the most important part of the leagues I have run. It is the main way we communicate. Its where we have always done our fantasy football drafts.
If you continue with this you will be losing us as customers.
