As commish of a league, I used the Message Board to communicate with the league as a whole, as opposed to individually through email. I would post weekly wrap-ups, and notify the other coaches of extended weeks, or shortened ones.
I would guess eliminating the Message Board was to eliminate some of the offensive trash talk some people say, but we never had a problem with that in my league.
I think you could at least make the Message Board an option that commissioners could implement through Settings, if they so desire. I'm disappointed in this sudden decision.kenny george

I'm not a fan of this format. As the commish of my league, I find I'm unable to delete posts on my chat thread that date back to last season! Most of these are simple adds and drops. I preferred the Message Board, where I could communicate with all players at once, get feedback, and delete old posts to eliminate clutter.
