YES!
They keep playing these STUPID ASININE games with folks.
We go in and modify the settings (those of us lucky to) and then later, get on an email on the PC, laptop, phone or tablet and GUESS WHAT!?
The BLOODY ****** adverts ARE BACK when we sure as HECK did not expect them - after paying for, as D2 stated, "NO BLASTED ADS"!!!!!!!!!

Yes, it is completely pathetic. If you don't mind, I'm pasting previous comments here to ensure someone at yahoo 'might' read them:
No, it is not just you - this new format is pathetic.
We cannot do bold, italics, colors, emojis anymore - unless there is a secret hiding spot....
They moved the friggin' delete button for each email to the extreme right.
They added extra steps JUST TO MOVE email(s). No more drag to a different folder.
I went to the "settings" button to change email status once I've read it and that option is not there.
Most of - this "feedback" is referring to yahoo basic and I HAVE PRO because I'm sick of commercials and ads but yahoo in their ingenious moments of 'not thinking' has made the email platform worse.
We have less control of what we do with email.... Lemme tell ya, I am exploring options to archive and move all my email to a new system (not sure yet where but I have it narrowed down).gudguy1

What it means is, is that there are the DUMBEST workers/developers at yahoo on the planet.
We check full size, the compose email window SHOULD BE FULL WINDOW!
And NOT THAT STUPID COMPACT MODE THAT MOST OF US "DO NOT DESIRE"!
Sorry, but at some point, weeks later, I tend to get very, VERY irritated at these types of issues without ANY KIND of fix to resolve it...!!
Not your fault, this is their issue to resolve....
