Right Side Panel (Contacts, Starred, Etc)
There should be a way to remove the contact box on the right. This feature is useful when two windows (one is yahoomail) are displayed side-by-side. During these situations, window real estate is valuable.

Dear Yahoo,
I recently moved to the new Yahoo Mail with Yahoo Plus Premium, but I prefer the old version and wasn't given the option to switch back.
with the new version, can you please guide me on how can I hide the items on the new right-side panel, such as Starred and Contacts?Feedback : please give us the ability to show or hide this right sidebar. I want to focus on my emails and view them across a wide screen.
Thanks a lot.

Option to have the right hand column minimized on opening mail. I do not use any of the features and it uses up too much space and I do not want to manually minimize each time I open mail. I will stick to the old mail format until this is implemented.

Add an option to delete the right side window "Notes, Contacts...etc" when viewing emails to allow for a wider view for folders. Currently, most of my folder names are truncated and the small size makes it more difficult to navigate. I will never need the right side panel and it takes up valuable space that could be better used.

I see that you are making these changes soon..
*Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
*Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)
Please make these available for all users. I CAN NOT STAND that right hand column when I'm on my computer. It inhibits the ability for me to see the full message of an email when its on the right side vs the bottom view. I prefer the right hand view. I will not become a subscriber for this option, I most likely will just start using a different email provider as I have dealt with it for far too long. The right hand column serves very little purpose and that it can't be minimized is just a distraction. Thank you for your consideration. -

option to remove starred view side window. I need this to be a removeable option. I need a bigger window screen for my emails please. It is not important to me to have this quick access to "starred, Contacts & More"
Thanks,

The advertisement panel on the right-hand side is too large, which negatively affects the email reading experience by reducing the available space for email content.
Compared to Yahoo Mail's new layout, the Microsoft Outlook Webmail layout is much better balanced and provides a more comfortable reading experience. It would be great if Yahoo Mail could optimise the right-hand advertisement panel or allow users to resize or collapse it.

I need to remove the mail landling page's right column box that is useless. I am not able to roll back to previous mail version which manage landing page better.

Let me get rid of the stupid box next to my emails list. I don't use any online calendars, I don't want to see my contacts, and I don't want to see starred emails there. Let me turn it off in settings, it's just a waste of screen space. Great for those who utilize it, but it's a waste of space for those who don't and presumes a lot about how people use your programs.

Remove the rightside graphic where you can choose a background(theme). It smallens the preview window, and it makes it very annoying.

I have been using yahoo mail since a more than a decade but this new change is really in-convenient as the mail reading window is extremely small (you have to scroll sideways and up/down to read an email).
This is such a let down to block it behind a payment.
Please bring the ability to remove the right column, so that one can read their emails which is the primary and sole purpose of the email service.

Yahoo Mail - I look at email on my laptop and desktop. I HATE the new version. The biggest complaint is that I cannot see enough of the body of an email. I like the list of emails on the left with the body of the viewed email on the right. Your new version INSISTS on keeping the right side of the screen taken up with space for contacts - which I rarely need! I get emails like newsletters that cover more of the screen, and I cannot see the entire width of the newsletter because the Contact area cannot be reduced. I changed the view so that the body of the email is at the bottom of the screen. Now I can see the entire width, but so little of the email is visible vertically that it is frustrating.
I also HATE the AI. It's in the way of the actual text and it often gets the information incorrect, which means I can't rely on it and have to read the original text anyway. Give us the option to turn it off.
WHY DID YOU HAVE TO CHANGE THE EMAIL SYSTEM? IT WORKED SO WELL BEFORE!

For starters, get rid of that stupid , uncontrollable box above this one (which currently reads "compose" because it did not have the option I want). The right column which shows starred e-mails, contacts, etc. takes up valuable reading space and actually serves no valuable purpose. Starred e-mails are indicated in the list of emails and does not need to be duplicated in a separate column. Programmers seem to have too many ideas and want them all to appear on the page. Simplicity, please! As well, please make submitting complaints simpler without so many needless steps.

The advertisement box on the right side of the mail is not allowing me to see full mail breadth wise. There must be some way of minimising the ad box while reading the mail

The "Starred/Contacts" box fixed on the left take up too much room. Having to option to minimize or hide it would give a better look and usability.

This is a frustrating addition. I can minimise it, sure. But any fresh reload of the webpage will restore the Right Hand Column. It takes up way too much space, and its features are not used by all users (i.e. contacts, calendar, starred messages). So please PLEASE confirm this absurd 'improvement' to Room 101. Get rid of it!

1: If I have a narrow window, the sidebars should (automatically) be minimised, if possible the right before the left.
2: I miss the coloured profiles.
