Right Side Panel (Contacts, Starred, Etc)
There should be a way to remove the contact box on the right. This feature is useful when two windows (one is yahoomail) are displayed side-by-side. During these situations, window real estate is valuable.

I can read ALL of the ads, whether or not I am interested, but can't see the entire message in my mail.

Please give users the option to remove the column section to the right that is for Starred emails and Calendar. This might not even be used by some users, so would be nice to allow us option to disable the view if unused. I personally DO use it, but prefer where it was on the far left near inboxes as options to click into, then a new tab opens for me to view in full. It takes up too much space especially when you're on a smaller computer screen. Difficult to read emails.

I can't view my emails without tons of clutter, such as starred emails popping up as a sidebar and no way to customize my layout.

allow user to hide the right column that shows the contacts. it is totally unnecessary and limits the view of emails.

Can you please add the option of showing/hiding the Starred list pane? I don't use it but I can't make it collapse and stay collapsed. The column of icons is fine in case I want to see those pieces but the always-open pane takes up space I'd rather use for email previews. Having to close it every time I open the webmail page is irritating when it would probably be so easy to add the option to just leave it closed. Thank you!

it wastes space. When I click the right arrows to minimize it, it reappears next time I login.
It would be nice to not have it.

I'd love to be able to collapse the right-side panel (contacts/starred) so that I have more screen real-estate for the body of the email (which is my focus/priority when checking my emails). For those of us who navigate the web on smaller screens, or who utilize a vertical tabbed view on our browser, the right panel doesn't provide a lot of value when it causes the main email window to shrink so small...

It would be nice if there were a way to remove the box on the right-hand side of the message box, the one with labels flagged along the top "Starred, Contacts, and More". That box is pointless and just takes up space. I would rather my preview box for my messages be bigger so I can read them more easily. I have sized down the list to be as small as allowed, but it would be helpful if I could make it even smaller. More options in settings for appearance customization would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Get rid of side column for starred, etc - or at least give an option to minimize the space it takes up on the screen.
Bring back narrow rows so I can see more emails on the screen at once.
Or make old yahoo mail visually customizable again. -

Yahoo Mail classic has a left-side sidebar, showing inbox, sent, custom folders etc. It can be widened more than the new version of Yahoo Mail's sidebar. The added width, especially on a large monitor, would prove very helpful.

I like to see my emails to the right of the list column. Many are attenuated by the "starred, contacts" column to the right. It is maddening to me that I can't get rid of the right hand column and view my emails in their entirety. I can't figure out a way to do it if there is one. Make "starred" and "contacts" columns drop-downs that can be quickly minimized as needed, and give us back our screen face.

It's way too big, and why should we have to arrow over every single time we go on to mail and minimize it??? Ridiculous!

I would like to see my calendar on the right-hand side. I don't want to see all the ad's.
Also on the calender, appointments can be marked and will be easy to view as the calendar appears on the right-handside. -

Hi, for the love of god, can you give the option to remove or atleast resize the contacts pane on the right as it used to be before?? I don't use that pane and it's basically making my email pane smaller, y'know... the whole reason I open my MAIL APP?!

Hi there, I have been using Yahoo Mail+ for years and generally like it, but I am sending you a feature request.
I have noticed that when viewing my email list, there is a side bar on the right-hand side that shows favorites. I get very little value out of this side bar yet it is taking up a non-trivial amount of screen real-estate.
Please consider offering a setting or other ability to disable this UI element.

Hello,
I’d like to share some feedback regarding the “Message layout: Right” view in Yahoo Mail.
At the moment, the email preview pane feels too narrow, which makes reading emails less comfortable—especially for longer or formatted messages. The main reason seems to be the fixed right-side panel (the one showing “Starred,” “Contacts,” “More,” etc.), which takes up a significant portion of the screen.
It would be very helpful if users had the option to hide, collapse, or fully remove this right-side panel. This would allow the email preview area to expand and make better use of the available screen space.
Since the purpose of the “Right” layout is to improve readability and workflow, giving users more control over that space would significantly enhance the experience.
Thank you for considering this improvement!

On a big desktop display, the look is OK.
But on my smaller laptop screen, too much space ist wasted between the panes left and right and the search bar above.
Also I have to minimize the rioght pane every time I open Yahoo mail. I want my settings remembered!
