Please have a way to remove the calendar, star, contacts, and more panel to the right of the email view. I have spent too much time trying to follow the help article to discover that it does not help. No icon appears for me to be able to collapse the panel.

I don't know if the column on the right side of the email inbox was for notes, but it consumes >20% of the screen that could be used to actually make the email preview modes much more useful than they currently are. Users really don't need to always see their contacts information or a link that opens up the calendar in a different tab taking up that much space that could be used for the primary task of managing emails. At minimum, provide a way to minimize whatever functions it is supposed to provide AND RETAIN WHATEVER ACTION THE USER APPLIED SO THAT WE DON'T HAVE TO RE-APPLY THAT TO OUR VIEW EVERY TIME WE RE-VISIT OUR EMAIL SCREEN.

The box on the the right side of the screen takes up all the viewing area. It is impossibe to read a message with this open on a laptop sized screen. Have an ability to hide or remove this box.

Please give an option to remove the starred/ contacts box. Or at least a way to expand the email list box.

I can no longer have full width of my emails/screen. And I can't go back to the old email design.... Please fix this.

I am having a difficult time adjusting to the new Yahoo email format. The right column, which includes features like settings and starring emails, takes up too much space and makes it hard to view incoming messages. I’ve tried to remove this column and open the emails for easier reading, but I haven't been successful. If there is no way to modify this layout, I am considering discontinuing my use of Yahoo email altogether. Please advise. Thank you.

I'm not using or wanting the right hand column. It's wasting screen space. Please allow removing it in personal preferences.

Give me the option to get rid of the right pane. It takes up a third of the screen and does nothing for me. Even better, let me return to the old Yahoo mail. It served me just fine and I don't need/want the new features.

Hi Yahoo just updated the layout, with no option I can find to revert to the old layout. Change isnt always progress, it just creates that illusion. This change is an example.

Now I have lost a third of my screen to some blank box that wants to display the calendar (which I dont use) or contacts (which I dont want to display) or starred emails (I will just apply a filter to the mailbox).

Can you at least provide an option to remove that blank, useless box so I can just view my emails (and previews) using the available space? Thank you.

Add Show/Hide to the Area with 'Starred' and 'Contacts' in the Heading to Make 'Alot' More Room to Read Emails — I'm on a 13" MacBook Air Using a Browser. As it Stands (New Look) I Cannot Read Emails at All. — I May Cancel my Account Due to Not Being Able to Use Comfortably (if at all) Anymore. — There was no way to transition to this new look and maintain the user's 'user interface' preferences the same? — What's More & Worse, I try to set-up this email account in Apple Mail and it does not allow me, or for some reason it fails.

I see the appearance of Mail just changed today. When I go to Settings>Appearance, I do not see an option to hide the right pane (that holds Starred, Contacts). Now when I view my messages, I cannot see it fully; I have to use the bottom scrollbar to scroll right to see the right side of the message - not good! Please offer a way to hide the right pane. Also, the complete name of the senders in Spam is now cut off. Thank you.

Allow removal of right side panel (favorites, etc)

Please add an option to collapse the persistent right column. I want to be able to read the entire Subject. The right column is taking way too much real estate. I only use it to occasionally manage contacts.

When viewing my inbox, and I collapse the right-hand menu box that contains shortcuts to the calendar and settings, it doesn't get remembered and I must collapse it again, often multiple times a day. This is annoying.

I was recently "upgraded" to the new yahoo mail interface. I am looking for a way to permanently hide the right-hand sidebar. You can temporarily remove it with the arrows on the sidebar boundary, but it comes back whenever the page is refreshed. This just limits the space for the emails, while not giving me anything I need, and is very frustrating to always have to manually hide it whenever the page is refreshed. As a paying customer, I should not have to fight like this for such a basic feature.

Right now the Starred view box is permanently place on the right side of the window. I cannot neither remove it or minimizing it to get more space for email viewing. By the way, why do we need so much space before email title listing. For that, we also do not have control of it. Now, I can only see a handful of email title lines. For people that have a lot email daily, this is really so inconvenience. And even I don't like the current look and feel, I have no way to go back to previous style.

I'm sorry to whoever designed the inbox but the right-hand sidebar is the most pointless feature and also really badly implemented. The fact that 25% of the screen space is taken up by this literal junk is crazy. It cannot be stated enough how terrible the sidebar is. I've tried ways to remove it from my filters and webpage source code but any fixes are not permanent or break the system.

Please remove or at least add an option to remove this waste of space.
