I agree. It would be one thing if there was an actual hard news item about one of them being in a car wreck or dying, but otherwise stop feeding into this absurd, offensive celebrity worship with more shallow gossip and meaningless items about the no-talent Kardashians. There is so much more going on in the world--even in the entertainment industry--that is so much more worthy than the silly nonsense items about the Kardashians.

Whatever auto-censor function is being used, it's absurd and offensive the way it works. I've had comments deleted immediately after I hit Return, for no good reason I can figure. Others have complained about such censorship--that it's excessive, subjective and inconsistent in what it chooses to delete or replace words with the symbol gibberish in. I used the common word "kook" in a comment, for example, and had the auto-censor change that word to a bunch of symbols. It's NOT a vulgar or offensive word but a commonly used description of someone who's mentally unhinged. I also tried repeatedly to post the following comment and had it deleted even when I modified one or two words I thought might be triggering the auto-censor to delete it without good reason: " What a disgusting monster and authoritarian wannabe in the White House. This sickening swamp creature needs to be impeached and removed asap." I've seen comments much more violent or vulgar appear without censorship, while my comment was deleted. It's ridiculous and creates a sense that the auto-censor is arbitrary and has ridiculous trigger words built into it. How about actually dealing with this and responding to the complaints from users?
