An error occurred while saving the comment TJ Photo commentedYour comment here is both bigoted and repetitive with the similar comments of other right-wing folks who think they're so smart and patriotic when they're actually grossly ill-informed, brainwashed or just clueless. Your attitude is that of a failed citizen, and demanding yahoo be more in line with the R swamp gang won't result in what you want. Go to FoxU if you want to have your biases and grievances reinforced.

An error occurred while saving the comment TJ Photo commentedI sympathize and appreciate your detailed list of problems you've experienced. I've been unable to see or post comments in the yahoo news section or other sections for months. That is, I don't even see a comments section anymore. If this is the result of some previous comment I posted, I had no notification of being penalized or banned, nor have I had any response when I tried posting a comment in this forum. So the admins are either understaffed or just don't care to deal with an issue that I think is a legitimate one. As for what you said about the paid support, that's good to know but seems typical of how the yahoo system goes. Customer service and support seems to be of no importance.

An error occurred while saving the comment TJ Photo commentedI previously posted a text with this heading but don't see it now. My point was that I can no longer see the Comments sections on articles that have that option. I see the Comments button, but when I click on it, no comments appear and I have no option to post a comment. What is the problem? If this is due to being blocked from commenting, I've had no notice of that. I tried viewing in both Firefox and Chrome browsers for Mac, with the same problem in both. Can some admin or moderator reply to this??

An error occurred while saving the comment TJ Photo commentedI've posted about the same problem, and it has not been resolved. Now I can't even see the Comments sections under many of the news articles. It will show a button for Comments, but when I click on that no comments show at all. So the problem is getting worse. Or else, I guess it's possible I've been placed in a category where I am blocked from adding comments and just didn't receive any notice of that.

An error occurred while saving the comment TJ Photo commentedThis kind of rant is so detached from reality that it just adds to the corrosive right-wing narratives that are undermining our country and its struggling democracy. It's a shameless bunch of lies and warped conspiracy theories that you're stuck in the echo chamber with.

An error occurred while saving the comment TJ Photo commentedThings have worsened since my previous comment on this issue, and it seems as if it's listed by a somewhat different description rated higher in the list of issues. This is a serious problem that yahoo needs to resolve now. I first had the problem of receiving an email about a reply from someone but the link button for a reply did not take me to the appropriate comment section. Now I click on View Comments for an article and see nothing but blank space there. No comments, no ability to comment. This needs to be fixed. When is a yahoo moderator going to deal with this??
An error occurred while saving the comment TJ Photo commentedI'm experiencing the same issue, but I don't think you fully explained the nature of the problem. I get email notifications saying someone liked or commented on a comment I posted in the News section or other section. When I click on the link in the email for Reply To, it takes me to the article's comment section, briefly flashes my post with its reply, and then just shows the comment section current activity, not my posting that someone replied to. It's very jumpy in that section, too--flashing portions of the comment section or going blank at times. It's not working as in the past and needs to be fixed so that when you click in the email notification on Reply To, it takes me directly to the comment I made and someone replied to.

An error occurred while saving the comment TJ Photo commentedStop posting these absurd, illiterate and warped political rants as something needing attention from yahoo News admin. You're wasting their time on your extremist views that you can't even express in a coherent way.

An error occurred while saving the comment TJ Photo commentedYou need to recognize the difference between news, features and editorial commentary. News pieces report facts and are generally checked for accuracy. Features are lighter stories on personalities, cultural topics, entertainment, etc. Editorials are opinion pieces, which should still have some basis in credible evidence. I see opinion pieces in the yahoo pages that are liberal, conservative, centrist and sometimes right-wing. The yahoo section and source is usually identified at the top left of an article. You should learn to identify the type of article first. If it's actually "news reporting" from AP, NY Times, Yahoo News or other sources, it is usually factual and not strongly "left-wing" or anything else. If it says Fox "News," or a similar right-wing outlet, chances are it's not factual but more like disinformation and a form of propaganda.
An error occurred while saving the comment TJ Photo commentedPublishing editorials like the one by Andrew McCarthy of National Review is deceptive and insulting when you don't clearly identify it as opinion and not news. Further, his affiliation with National Review--a staunchly conservative to right-wing publication--was in such tiny type that it was virtually unreadable. And in the piece he repeatedly promotes his own book on the subject of the Trump/Russia investigation. Balance is one thing, but undifferentiated presentation of warped opinions as if they're factual in nature is deceptive and offensive.

An error occurred while saving the comment TJ Photo commentedYou seem incapable of distinguishing between lies and evidence-based facts, and your hyper-partisan rant is indicative of a far-right extremist. When the news is factual but doesn't please you, that's your problem.

An error occurred while saving the comment TJ Photo commentedI question whether you are a nurse or where it is that you're nursing, because it is totally false and harmful to characterize covid as "no longer news". The surges attributed to the latest variant have been serious, with increases in hospitalization and/or deaths in many areas including major metro areas. Even a significant number of children have been diagnosed, took very ill and sometimes died. Only in the last week or so has a vaccine for children been approved for those under 5; are you suggesting that isn't important news? Your attempt to diminish this ongoing pandemic and demand that news about it be stopped tells me that you're an irresponsible person and unfit to be in the nursing profession.

An error occurred while saving the comment TJ Photo commentedThe latest example of a ridiculous auto-censor function is the article about the man who drove into protestors being a member of the Ku Klux Klan. When I used *** or Ku Klux Klan in my comment, both versions of the name were censored into that typo gibberish. Come on, yahoo, there must be a way to distinguish between legitimate and offensive uses of a common name like that. It's ridiculous and offensive that we can't use the term to describe someone's affiliation. This is just one of many auto-censored words that are used in articles and are commonly used terms but rejected by the auto-censor. Maybe have a live person monitor be able to view a term that is auto-flagged and then evaluate whether something like *** is used objectively/normally or used to advance a right-wing extremist agenda.

An error occurred while saving the comment TJ Photo commentedThe right-wing opinions offered here are just that--partisan opinions. I would agree that there might be too many items about AOC, but she's not just a meaningless newcomer in Congress. She's a legitimately important progressive voice who has also been involved in major legislative ideas like the Green New Deal that is filled with important plans to improve our country. How about we dispense with the flood of aggravating daily items about the latest lies and vulgar insults from the demented mind of Trump? That would make life a little less horrific.

An error occurred while saving the comment TJ Photo commentedI agree. It would be one thing if there was an actual hard news item about one of them being in a car wreck or dying, but otherwise stop feeding into this absurd, offensive celebrity worship with more shallow gossip and meaningless items about the no-talent Kardashians. There is so much more going on in the world--even in the entertainment industry--that is so much more worthy than the silly nonsense items about the Kardashians.
Oh boy, another whiny right-wing delusional is mad about "biased news". By "unbiased" you obviously mean stories that are baseless or dishonest but flatter trump, the R swamp gang and anyone who can't tell truth from lies. Let's see, you probably get your "news" from the disinformation trough at FoxU. Read the documentation that's come out in the Dominion vs Fox case, with numerous internal communications between hosts and producers. They disparaged trump and made clear how scared they were that telling the truth (about the 2020 election and other topics) would make their audience bail out because those viewers only want to have their warped biases confirmed, no concern about truth.
