    Here is how to fix it: Delete the browsing data from whatever browser you use. Close and restart your browser. Re-login to your Yahoo Finance account. You'll need to fully re-do the Custom Order of your Watchlist. Once you have the line items back in your desired order, click Done. You'll now be able to cycle through ascending, descending, and custom order sorts like we all could before

    They broke the "Custom Order". There should be a button at the top of the list that would allow you to revert the list sort order back to your "Custom Order".

    Thank you, that worked. I did not need to restart my computer. I just deleted all browsing data and then restarted Chrome. Of course, I needed to redo my custom order but at least now it remembered it.
