    Please note: Some third-party apps have their own sending name setting, which bypasses the Yahoo Mail setting. If the app you're using attaches a different name than the one saved in your Yahoo Mail settings, contact the manufacturer of the app for assistance.

    Why is it that when I change my name, the one that appear on people's emails when I send an email to them is the old name? If I changed names shouldn't the public name also change? I don't get it.
