    Please note: Some third-party apps have their own sending name setting, which bypasses the Yahoo Mail setting. If the app you're using attaches a different name than the one saved in your Yahoo Mail settings, contact the manufacturer of the app for assistance.

    When you change your name is the personal info in your account it doesn't ACTUALLY change your name on the email. I've had this email address for almost 20 years but I've been married for half of that and it is STILL sending my emails out from my maiden name. I'm so irritated about it now I may just shut down my yahoo emails. It's absurd.
