If you plan on replacing an important organizational tool like message boards that are used for drafting, trades, rule changes, open discussions, and general league communication to name a few with another tool, Why don't you have that tool ready to replace it before you remove it completely. I don't know who the brain child was behind this decision, whomever did make this choice out did themselves. Even for Yahoo with the many bugs and lack of support we have been forced to deal with and accept over the years this is up there as one of the largest middle fingers you have given your users. I could be optimistic about new chat features if there wasn't a total gap in a much needed communication mechanism like message boards. Give us the message boards until your new development is done. Experiencing Yahoo development over the last 10 years I have zero faith your new chat features will be ready by the end of the current MLB season. I would be surprised if they are ready to go before MLB season of 2024. Simply put, do not remove a feature until the replacement feature is ready to go. I have voted to move away from Yahoo platform in my league. I hope others realize that there are other platforms for fantasy baseball. Platforms who consider the impact their decisions have on the end users.
