This singularly poor decision must be about money.
No logic, no presentation of market research, no consideration of customer preferences, no beta test, and a basic lack of understanding of how message boards serve the needs of a league. Everybody has chat and league members already use that if they prefer to discuss trades, etc. But a message board is a league forum for open, longitudinal, effective communication and facilitating league functions. Chat may have some advantages, but in the context of league mission and goals, not the least of which is having fun, chat pales to message boards. I could provide a long litany of message board advantages, but I suspect that the many hundreds of messages, should they be read and considered, do that quite effectively. Please read these messages. They do not reflect the opinions of outliers. Like many, I find myself after 23 years with Yahoo considering other fantasy sports outlets such as ESPN, and in fact will be researching these other outlets as soon as I post this message. This is not reactionary; we just want a fun diversion and it's not hyperbolic or histrionic to state that losing the message board will take away a lot from the game. You have failed to provide a convincing argument for chat; please reverse this lamentable decision. Thank you.d b supported this idea ·
Yahoo acting like Yahoos. It's on to ESPN for our league.
