    The message board were the best place our multiple leagues used to schedule draft times, post players on the trade block, communicate potential changes all on separate threads that everyone could access and follow. Using messenger will cause miscommunication with important announcements, or ideas to get lost in other discussions. If you've ever tried to schedule anything in a group text you'd understand how things can and will go off the rails quick.

    Fantrax is becoming more of an option for the multiple leagues I play in. They have message boards as well as a chat option, along with many other positive features.
