Putting grey background on "read" emails in list is a terrible idea. When looking at a folder, most if not all the emails are already "read", and so the whole page is grey, it's a terrible look, it's hard to read. What was wrong with the way it was before? Which was: "unread" in bold, "read" in normal font. That was much better. There was no reason to change. It's like you guys are starting from scratch, it's pathetic.

I thought the way it was before was just fine: unread emails listed in bold font, and "read" emails listed in normal font. I really hate the way it is now with grey backround on the row of the "read" emails. When looking at emails in a folder, they're all "Read" so the whole page is grey, it's a terrible look. So much for a "Fresh" look. Looks pretty dreary to me. Hate it. Really stupid idea. It's like a bunch of high school kids are doing this as a class project.... people with insufficient design or user interface/experience experience.
