    And now that he's coming off the DL, the hare-brained "split Ohtani in two" plan gets worse!

    If he was really 2 different players, one shouldn't affect the other. But if you own the pitcher, as most people do, you have to activate him when the hitter comes back. And give up a roster spot even though he might not pitch again this season.

    Splitting the most exciting player to come along in decades was a lazy, ill-conceived idea that ruined his value and caused countless problems. When is Yahoo going to admit its mistake?
