You have 5-year-old and older requests re: position eligibility that are still "gathering feedback," and are ranked at or near the top of this section, as if they're relevant. What a joke.

We have been clamoring for inclusion of FO% (not to mention takeaways/giveaways) for SEVERAL years; the only response we've received is silence, and the highest the request has been ranked on your list is about 11th. I'm not buying it.

If you cared to do anything about it, you easily could. Why not just admit that you couldn't care less what people want? At least get back to people and tell them to **** off. It'd be better than pretending you're giving us a voice and just ignoring us.

There wasn't a link for fantasy hockey, only baseball and football, so I used the generic sports link. Face offs are one of the most important trackable stats in hockey. To count only "faceoffs won" is foolish, because someone could lose 60% of their faceoffs, but still win a lot due to how many total faceoffs they take. To account for faceoffs won AND faceoffs lost, you'd currently have to use two stat categories to accomplish this. If yahoo would include an option for Faceoff %, this would only be a single (very important) stat that would give a clear picture of how good a given player is at winning faceoffs. If you count this stat the same way as you count batting average or ERA in baseball (by combining all players' earned stats and coming up with the team's percentage), this one simple move would vastly improve yahoo's fantasy hockey experience. Other fantasy services have offered this stat for many years now. Obviously hockey is not as important to yahoo as more popular fantasy sports like football or baseball, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try to offer the best possible product. Thanks.

Using faceoff win % is perfectly fine. You would combine all faceoff stats for all skaters to get your team faceoff win %, just like they do for GAA and SV% (also for baseball stats like AVG, OPS, ERA, WHIP, and any ratio stats in any sport). The only way it would be "skewed" as you say, is if one entire team only had a few faceoffs all week. i.e. your whole team goes 2 for 3 (.667), while your opponent's team goes 39 for 60 (.650). This would not be fair to the opponent on the FO% stat, but to accomplish this, you'd have to bench players and forgo their other stats, which wouldn't be a fruitful strategy. Faceoff win % is a perfectly fine stat.

This request (ranked 107th presently) is essentially a duplicate of the 11th ranked request, except that this one adds a mention of "net face offs". These should be combined into one request, and the request should be honored! We have been asking for years to have FW% added. We had to dumb-down my league this year because face off wins alone is an incomplete stat, and we're not going to add face off losses and use two categories to cover one stat.

Please, please, please, add Faceoff % as a stat!! We don't want to have to use 2 separate stats to count it (FOW & FOL), because that essentially makes it twice as valuable as it would be if it's combined into one stat (and twice as important as any stat that is only covered by one category). We have been waiting for years and years for this improvement, and we're still waiting!! Faceoff % is a very important stat! Other fantasy hosts (ESPN for example) offer it! It's just not important enough to take up two categories.... PLEASE fix it! (we love Yahoo fantasy, except for this glaring oversight)
