You are so right about this....when you objectively view comparative statistics for female mortality rates in Australia, DV is absolutely miniscule as a cause. Preventable heart disease kills 20,000 women a year in particular, various cancers kill women in the thousands, even suicide and car accidents cause many more female deaths than DV. These fundamental facts are never discussed, because they do not fit the message/agenda of the highly emotive feminist advocates.

I particularly enjoyed your following comment on Ms Rose Batty/Anti DV Advocate & Campaigner:

"...I would suggest that she (Ms Batty) got her current gig as a direct result of the tragic murder of her son. Her highly dysfunctional family experience is very untypical, although we are led to believe, through highly exaggerated and false "pay-back" rhetoric, that it is common place. People with highly untypical life experience ought not to be preaching to others about the "tsunami" or "plague" of DV. The only plague or tsunami in this regard, is to be found in the media and various other advocacy groups/individuals with vested interests...."

I agree 100%, but it seems the media is in a woeful state of "groupthink," where the dangerously skewed agenda continues to be promoted to the lasting detriment of women, men, children and society generally. It's as if the feminised media & associated DV advocates are seeking to create the "problem" that they say they want to address. There is, undoubtedly, a lot of media/advocate oil being thrown on a very small fire. Strange forces are at work, one might think.
