With this category, you could have an old number of managers. The middle point team for a given week would get a tie.

top half gets a win... bottom half gets a loss. Its simple and would be a great third option.
call it 50/50An error occurred while saving the comment Thomas Gardner commented
I agree this a great idea! another simple way to do this. Top half get a win, bottom half a loss. if odd # of managers, middle team gets a tie.

Currently there are head to head and total scoring options.
Problem with head to head - best teams dont always advance to playoffs by dumb luck of who they played.
Problem with total scoring. One huge week or one terrible week weigh to heavily on season scoring.
With 50/50. Each week top half of league gets a win, bottom half a loss. If there are and odd # of managers, middle team gets a tie.
That way best half of league gets a win each week but playoff are still first decided by overall record. Brilliant isnt it? -

I think it is silly
Its a nice hybrid of head to head and pure points.
Pure points has the disadvantage of a single player score in one week impacting the entire season.
Head to head has the problem of bad luck facing the wrong opponent on a given week or a schedule where some teams get to play weak teams twice, others play the best teams twice.
The mix is alot like daily. Top 5 teams get a win, bottom 5 get a loss (for a 10 team league). Its more talent based bc if your team is in the top half they get a win.
Please try it. I am sure it will become the most popular version of fantasy football.
