Melvin Gordon should be IR eligible as long as he is holding out.

Yahoo has reclassified him from being IR eligible heading into week 1 to Not Active, thus not IR eligible, leaving his owners with a decision of whether or not to forgo roster transactions in order to preserve his IR status.

This is inconsistent with the way Yahoo treated Le'Veon Bell last season during his holdout, as he was IR eligible all season. Many yahoo fantasy managers spent early to mid-round picks on Gordon under the impression that if he holds out he can be stashed on IR based off of precedent set last year with Bell.

What is even more mind-boggling is that yahoo did not classify Bell as "Not Active" last year when he technically was not even under a NFL contract. Yet, here we are with Gordon being listed as Not Active yet he is a Reserved player per the official depth chart of LA Chargers.
